My Son Cut His Hair And Twitter, Facebook And Instagram Went Crazy!!! He Went Viral!!!

I don't know if yall have seen the pictures floating around yesterday, but my 10 year old son cut his hair to donate...I posted in here last month that he would be doing it... and he went VIRAL! Annnnd the beautiful Reneice was the one who did the cut...

Here's us on the news... I hope my hair was ok, I wasn't expecting to be interviewed... tell me how I did ladies!

Awesome kid! I'm jealous he got all that hair growth in only 2 years. I've been on my haircare journey for over 10 years and my hair is barely the length his was, lol!

I about had a heart attack when they showed his big beautiful WNG curls on the news clip!!

It really did go viral!! I was late to the posting and just posted a couple of days ago in the thread...Then two days ago, I see it on IG and I was like, "I know that cute little face"!!!!

Thanks ladies! I knew yall would be positive and suporting. The people in twitter, Instagram and Facebook are crazy disrespectful and saying all types of stuff, accusing it of being fake, accusing him of wanting to look like a girl, saying I'm a thirsty Batch lying to get likes... its ridiculous how Negative people who are total strangers can get. But there was way more positivity than anything!
Ok so as far as a regimen...lol
Allllll we did was leave his hair ALONE! All this hair, he had the nerve to be tender headed... so I had to fight with him to actually do it. It stayed in cornrows once it got past the afro stage... and maybe every 2 months I'd let him rock the huge crazy hair for a few days. He swam a lot so it was always in water... we washed and conditioned in the cornrows most times because he had swim practice Mon-Thurs. The basic key to hair growth from what I've seen, less manipulation equals more retention.
We didn't oil his scalp, we didn't unbraid to wash 3 times a week, we didn't do anything but let his hair chill. Reneice said he retained EVERY INCH that he grew. He didn't even need a trim... and she didn't have to flat iron it... the blowout Gave him 16 inches to donate!
