Is Aubrey Organics Dangerous?

I wanted to order my fave AO conditioner, their honeysuckle rose one only to discover that Aubrey hair products have now been discontinued. Apparently the Honeysuckle Rose conditioner contains toxic, cancer causing ingredients. Is this true?
I've been using AO products for almost 15 years with no issues but now I'm having doubts as to whether I should re-purchase even though I love the products.

What are the supposedly dangerous ingredients?

I don't know what the dangerous ingredients are but when I tried to order on Vitaminshoppe, I saw the following warning message which put me off:

'This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or reproductive harm'.

Prop 65, I believe? That warning is on every dayum thing. Lol. I pay it dust, because it doesn't give any more details than that. I've seen it on clothing, makeup, everything!

You should Google that phrase. It pops up in a lot of stuff, especially with furniture I think. Some manufacturing rules for CA and maybe another state I think.

But honestly I think you know deep down that their products aren't causing cancer.

Yes! That label is on a lot of stuff.

For furniture, I thought it has something to do with formaldehyde in wood products especially. Does that sound familiar?

You know, I bet it's the "fragrance". On a lot of websites that explain ingredients, fragrance is listed as carcinogenic. Because fragrance does not have to be disclosed, it can include any number of ingredients and so the state of California is probably erring on the side of caution with this warning.

"Fragrance" is undisclosed (likely for proprietary reasons) but I doubt AO is using carcinogenic ingredients in their fragrance, they are just unwilling to disclose their blend ingredients.

Just my guess.

The first time I saw Wicked was in LA. I bought a pair of souvenir earrings, and the warning was on the earrings. I was like how do these earrings only cause problems in California. I asked LHCF, and they said exactly what you said, the warning is everywhere in Cali.
