I Just Love This Lady's Hair So Much!

I really like this woman a lot and her advice. She is very sensible.

At first, I was not really into the whole theory of certain hair products stripping the hair of its natural sebum. I thought she had a better grade of hair.

Now after 2.5 years, people are now asking me what am I doing to my hair because my texture looks curlier and softer and my hair is now inching towards APL. The left side of my hair which used to be very dry and never responded to products now as soon as I put my warm water it just melts beautifully and when I add product it just stays moist. I think that front right side suffered from years of over braiding and bad relaxers and it took time to bring it back to where it used to be years ago. My hair is baby fine but I have a lot of it.

I realize that my not using hair extensions at all this time natural, cutting off my dark brown dye which caused my hair to be dry and porous, and now knowing which products work best for my low porosity hair and do not strip the sebum, this has been a game changer for me. It takes time but if you just are patient unless you have a medical condition, you will see changes in your hair.

I like her conditioner as I said and will go back to using it as a regular conditioner.

The products that do well for my hair are her products, Komaza and Curl Prep.

Though, I can't do shea butter and warm water it sits on my hair. I like diluted curl prep sweet buttah with warm water. And Komaza spray conditioners when I want to rotate with the curl prep. The curl prep is expensive but I dilute it so much that it lasts really long. My hair is fine so, I don't need three products sitting on my hair like some women who may have thick hair or oil suffocating it. As for shampoos, I do like the woman's shampoo bar and I alternate that with Komaza and the Neutrogena anti residue formula. And as for protein treatments, nothing for me beats Komaza protein.

If she comes up with a leave in, I will try it out. Her hair speaks the truth.

Best,
Almond Eyes

I started banding my daughter's hair like she does for her girls and it really helps retain length by stretching the hair and keeping knots away. I also use her shampoo bars and conditioner. I was thinking about getting sisterlocks but seeing her hair has me on the fence.

I really feel that I have conquered the impulse to buy a ton of different hair products. That being said, I did break down and purchase her hair conditioner without protein because I still am struggling with dry hair strands. I decided to see if this one will make a difference long term. I will not purchase any other products with the exception of my 2 standard product lines that I regularly use---komaza and a hair conditioner from Reneice that is not sold in the marketplace. I have wasted so much money over the years chasing after a hair "miracle," that does not exist. Only time, patience and loving hair care practices yeal positive hair results!

Thank you! I was about to cut off a sliver and dissolve it in hot water to make "shampoo".
I never even went to her channel - I just buy random stuff, lol

You're welcome.

Please share how well it works. I have only tried the shampoo bar and felt like it made my hair dry. She said you need to use it for at least a month to detox...... It didn't feel any different than anything else I've used though.

I might try it again.
