I got a reply to my comment. They said for the Black Friday sale shipping was based on the weight of the purchases.

I realized this when I would order from her in the very beginning when she didn't have $7 flat rate shipping. Every time I added something to my cart the shipping went up lol. Half the time it wasn't even worth it.

BUT...I still think she should've keep her normal shipping fee for the sale. Like someone already said..she's using the shipping and handling fee to make up for the discount.

I agree. I think she used it to make up for the discount. I wish I had read this thread before ordering.

The Good: Receiving free shipping for pointing out a code wasn't working.

The Bad: My Honey Child ridiculous shipping at $11. She better be glad my hair loves her products.

The Ugly: My Honey Child cart showed free shipping but $11 in shipping was added in the payment screen right before check out. I felt hustled.

I didn't purchase any hair stuff for BF or CM, but I did do my fair share of site browsing and cart filling :look:....I couldn't believe the shipping rates of (most of) these vendors.o_O In my case, for just one or two items. To me, they could have kept the coupon code and just offered free shipping. Your savings came right back in the shipping. I don't own a biz so I don't know if shipping really is that expensive for just one little item?

I'm already working on refining my hair staples to products found at my local stores.

The Good
  • I only purchased a few items. I did not go overboard this year which is good especially since I am still using items from last years BF purchases.
  • The few vendors I purchased from have excellent customer service.

The Bad
  • Me making several carts with several vendors and questioning my decision not to purchase more.

The Good: Both of my Black Friday orders (Bamboo Tea and Protein World) arrived yesterday (Tuesday). My Bamboo Tea order qualified for free shipping and I was surprised that it shipped Priority. Some vendors just ship First Class for free shipping.

Another good, despite there being a lonnngg line at JC Penney salon on Friday (they were allowing regular store purchases to be rung up in the salon), I was able to check out instantly since my purchase was actual salon products.

Got most of my packages so far

My Honey child order has not shipped yet. Since Black Friday.

The Ugly
Nordstrom double charged me and it took almost a week of repeated customer service calls to get it off.
