Hi, I saw a few posters stating that they used this, I just picked some up from Sallys and wanted feedback on how you're using it and how often.

The instructions note that it can be used as an excellent active protein hair reconstructing conditioner by diluting it with one third water.

Yall know I LOVE this stuff. Use it however you want for a protein boost. I mix it with Aphogee 2 Step to give the treatment a more complete protein profile. I add it to DCs if I want a boost in strength. I'll add it to my leave in as well. It is pretty much pure protein so you can use it in a multitude of ways.

This stuff was a game changer for me. I love it! I mix 2 parts NPF with 1 part water, spray my hair after I shampoo and sit under the dryer for 20 minutes. Then I rinse and apply a moisturizing DC and sit under the dryer for another 30 minutes.

I do this every other time I shampoo and my retention has never been so good. Love, love, love. Plus it's so inexpensive compared to other products that don't work nearly as well.

Thank you all so much.

I'm going to try it this weekend. I don't think I'm getting an adequate amount of protein.

I picked it up at Sallys along with the aphogee 2 step.

Is this the name on the bottle? Is there a company?

It looks like this:

The company is called Colorful.

I used this as my mid-protein step in my relaxer, sprayed it on pre-relaxer, sprayed it on as the first wash after the relaxer, getting ready to mix it in a conditioner to prep my daughter's hair to be flat ironed/straightened and will do the same for my hair before my relaxer. It's really versatile and can be used for anything :yep:

I also love this stuff. I've only used it mixed with aphogee 2step for a hard protein treatment or into my DC and it works wonderfully both ways.

I may experiment with using it in my leave ins in the future though.

I just purchased this the other day. How are you mixing it with Aphogee 2 step? Whats the ratio?

Rooted Yet Flowing
Did another treatment with this last weekend. My hair is still in the same 4 braids that I put in to airdry and yet it still feels moisturized, plump and strong. I love this stuff. You only need a little too. Mix about 2 tablespoons with any moisturizing conditioner and BAM! I think I'll try it with my Hello Hydration next since I still have a huge bottle left over from summer.

*Edited to add: it also makes my color pop! If you have permanent hair dye (I have jet black) this should really be part of your reggie. My color always looks nice, shiny, refreshed and boosted after every treatment.

Every 6-8 weeks:

2 Oz neutral protein filler + 1oz aloe vera juice mixed in a spray bottle.

Spray on freshly shampooed, towel dried hair. top with my moisturizing DC.

Steam for 30-45 minutes. rinse.

I just used this yesterday. It was bomb. I have high porosity / fine hair that loves protein.

I washed with Sally's Ion Hard Water shampoo and then washed again with VO5 clarifying shampoo.

I applied undiluted NPF to my naked hair for 20 minutes and then dc'ed with Silicon Mix.

My hair was soft soft and fluffy, and detangling was super easy! I love this stuff.

I plan on using 1-2 monthly. I will have to see how my hair responds.

I looked for NPF at Sally' s a couple weeks ago and couldn't find anything but a 2 oz. bottle. I want the huge 32 oz bottle I used to get years ago.

So this brand, Colorful is sold at Sally's?
