This morning I woke up in a state of total fatigue. Please speak to me in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. I need encouragement.

I'm tired of politics.
I'm tired of hatred.
I'm tired of racism.
I'm tired of poverty and hunger and homelessness.
I'm tired of crime.
I'm tired of "this causes cancer" and "that causes cancer".
I'm tired of mean people.
I'm tired of material worship.
I'm tired of celebrity worship.
I'm tired of sarcasm.
I'm tired of ugly, wicked images everywhere in art and music and film. . .

"So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down,
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
and exchange it someday for a crown!"

"The race is not given to the swift nor to the strong, but to him that endureth unto the end."

Merry Christmas Sheriberi.

Luke 1:26-33
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Matthew 1:21
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

My Faith has found a resting place - Elizabeth Edmunds Hewitt
Verse 1
My faith has found a resting place,
Not in device nor creed;
I trust the Ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.

Refrain:
I need no other argument,
I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

Verse 2
Enough for me that Jesus saves,
This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him,
He’ll never cast me out.

There are 2 more verses, but this post is long enough already. God bless, @Sheriberi. Have a merry Christmas.
