Has anyone used Carol's Daughter products?

Just curious is anyone currently using Carol's Daughter products, and are you getting any results?

I just went on the website and Jada Pinkett-Smith's hair is gorgeous! She endorses this hair line and uses two products faithfully: Lisa's Hair Elixir and the Hair Balm which she contributes to her hair growth. I'm tempted to order some and give it a try. My hair is pretty healthy but I'm always looking for products to try.

Please hit me back on whether you've tried her products and what you think of them. I'm 5 weeks post relaxer and stretching until 10 weeks, looking for anything to minimize the breakage.

I use CD's Mimosa Hair Honey to seal my hair and add shine. It smells great to me (some think it's a bit too "sweet" smelling). It lasts forever because a little bit goes a long way, so you definitely get your money's worth.

I used her other products (shampoos, rinses, and Tui hair oil) when I wore my hair natural. I liked them well enough but I wouldn't say that they worked any better for me than the cheap stuff.

I actually like her bath and body products even better. I swear by the Ocean line...the scrub and lotion are super moisturizing in the winter when many other lotions leave me a bit ashy by the end of the day.

I tired the healthy hair butter. It didn't do anything spectacular for my hair other than add a little shine. Overall her products are to greasy for me, even the body butters!

i used to use them back in like '99 but my SO at the time hated the fact that it made the pillow cases greasy so i stopped. I don't know I just feel that for the price you pay you can make most of her products yourself. but if its convenience that you are looking for then i guess it might work for you...good luck

I don't care much for the hair products. The Kizzy pomade smells WONDERFUL, but that's about it.

I tried Carols Daughter but I really didn't like the products. The consistency was too heavy and greasy, and the scent was way too strong for me. Even using a small amount just weighed my hair down. They also didn't seem very moisturizing.

I know a lot of ladies like her products but they just didn't work for me.

I tried her products and didn't like them as well, But I wish I could have used them when she first started making them because I heard they were all natural and worked better, The Healthy Hair Butter done nothing just as the Balm, and most of her hair products have the same ingredients just a different name if you look closley, maybe she might add 1 different.

Yeah Jadas hair is Pretty but I know she has a Good Stylist too!

I've used the loc butter. thick and buttery. If you use to much makes hair greasy. However, it smells so heavenly that I would use it just for the scent. I think I may try it again because I think it wold be great for moisturizing my ends.

I use the healthy hair butter and it works well on my hair; however, like others say, a little goes a long way. I tried the hair milk and didn't like it all. It literally just sat on my hair and did nothing.

I used mimosa hair honey when i was natural and also now that I'm relaxed. It really made my natural hair shiney and kept frizzies at bay. For my relaxed hair it's a little too heavy, but I like the smell (although it's a little sweet) so I use it every now and then.

I use this on my edges to keep them flat. I bought a sampler of her products a while back and didn't really care for anything else.
