Im going to start taking either or because I've been breast feeding for 16 months and it might be taking a toll on my hair. Which one do you use and do you think teas work better or capsules?

Should you be taking hair supplements if you're still nursing? I recommend bamboo capsules. Bamboo will not negatively impact the baby.

Is your issue post-partum shedding? Or, something else?

Post partum shedding should've ceased by now. Are you still taking your prenatals? How's your overall diet? If you have a any kind of deficiency it doesn't matter what you take you won't see an improvement until your body receives what it needs.

That's a good question. She does drink a lot of milk but she also eats 3 meals a day plus snacks. Her doctor did say if it's in your blood it's in your milk, but he did say the amounts were minuscule pretty much. I'm going to call him and ask him though.

There is no post partum shedding... That happened right after I had her. My hair is fragile.

I'm not taking prenatals but I should be for sure. I eat pretty healthy. Mostly organic. No coffee, lots of water etc.

Hi @sparkle25

I'm nursing DD, she is 5 months. Still taking prenatal vitamins daily.
I threw out hair/skin/nail vitamins once I found out I was preggo because I knew I'll start prenatal vitamins for the long run.

Still combating excessive shedding, and thin edges, but I know this is because of postpartum shedding.
It takes my hair over a year to be back after giving birth.

Don't know about teas helping with hair. I can be a habitual tea drinker than fall off the wagon for months.
