Whew, thank God! I was praying you hadn't put a wig on that baby's head . She is so cute and already a little dainty diva because my niece would have pulled that wrap off and threw it on the ground somewhere

All is well with me
Too stinking adorable!!!!

Don't fret. Because when it comes in, you'll be running back to the board talking about its growing to fast and I don't know what to do.
I don't know how mums of girls do it, I get lazy just taking my son to the barber once a month. If I have a girl, she will stay in cornrows 99% of the time like I did as a child, I'm too lazy- I barely even style my hair

How cute is she?! She looks like a little lady! May I ask where you got her head wraps?
My daughter is looking more like a boy than her brother did
Her was born with a lot of hair, but it's starting to come in quicker now that he's edging towards 2 years old. Like, his hair just started getting longer all of a sudden. I too have heard that their hair comes in by age 4 if you just let it alone.
I have a friend that would put a super tight struggle bun on top of her baby's head every day. The baby barely had hair, of course. She had bad hair practices herself. It was so tight that the baby was able to snatch the dime sack ponytail off completely one day.
That's how tight it was. I fear that she may have alopecia issues already. How sad is that? Her mom just doesn't know better. No worries over here, your baby girl will have a head full of hair soon! I predict that you'll update this thread with pictures of how much hair she has soon!

Awwwww you ladies are killing me you're so sweet! Thank you so much!

I have seen some horrible things done to little ladies who hair hasn't grown a lot. Huge braids that look so heavy and painful... I've seen wigs and weaves and even PERMS before kids were even 3! I don't like to talk about other people's parenting but some practices are going to cause detrimental damage in the long run as we all know.

And these wraps are amazing! I have so many of them now and they come pre tied in cute styles and the lady has many different patterns. I'll post the lank as soon as I get home :)

I know some body who's 3 year old has traction alopecia. It's super sad. And I'll definitely update when it's starting to grow more.

OP, I wish I had pictures of me at your Daughter's age. My hair had trouble growing, and I had to wear scarfs and what not. My mom felt the same as you and grew tired of people referring to me as a boy. My mom tells me the stories about how doctors said that I would never be able to get a relaxer or grow hair normally. But, neither was true. Eventually my hair did grow, and I'm sure your baby's hair will also.

Btw: she's too adorable!!!

Who is calling her a boy??? That's clearly a girl baby, hair or no hair. She's adorable. Look at those chubby cheeks! Her hair will grow in eventually. Some kids just get hair growth spurts later than others. Just leave it loose (no too tight hair styles) and moisturize it.

Girl, she will be fine! She is adooorable! Love her little wraps!
Lank please :look:
Ok ladies... Sorry it took me so long to get back with the lank but here it is... https://www.etsy.com/people/lilmartiansbtq?

She has soooo many designs and they are already pre-tied so we don't have to mess around with it . My baby does like to rip hats and stuff off of her head,,,, but these hats are so comfortable and soft that she doesn't really do that... maybe once every three hours she does. They don't feel like a normal hat, they're just comfortable and cozy . She actually really likes them . And like I said they come pre-tied so you don't have to mess around with that . They also come in many different sizes for children.

They are just so wonderful and I've gotten so many compliments and not one person has mistake in my child for a boy since I have had her in these had wraps. I get " oh my God your daughter is so beautiful and I love her head wrap " and so on and so forth from so many people I can't even Number them . I also got another African lady that does these wraps and she will customize them for you... I will post the link immediately just give me a few minutes

And also ladies, I lined them with satin myself but if you want that for your baby I am sure the seller will do that, just ask her before you order and if not I can probably do it for you and I'll do it for free..
