Okay...If your upset about your hair on any given day this is the thread to rant in!

Obviously Im mad...Im growing out a short cut and have had no style for the past I dunno year and change...and Im tired of it. My back grows (slowly but it grows) now my front just stays in this Beatle like shape!
Im too young to be walking around like someones grandma (think Weezie)! Im serious when I get rollersets I see so many people with around my length with cute cuts. But me....noooo that would be to easy I have to have this boufant sittin on my head.

Im just annoyed...I want to bring my sexy back. Maybe I should just cut it back off and not bother growing it out. It was short but at least it was a style and I was a cutie-patootie. Now Im just one of the lost Beatles...

AND Im a lil perturbed bacuz (yeah I said bacuz) Yesterday I tried on a wig. And Im lookin in the mirror like c'mon man this aint me. WHY am I tryin to rock a wig?! And my son (who is 4) was like "Hey Mommy why you have that on your head?" I left -minus the wig. And if I do purchase it I realize I need to be sans the kid. I dont need him pointing out the fact that he was with mommy when she bought the wig to people..

Not knockin anyone who does the lacefronts etc. I mean Ive done weaves to death (and may be doing them again) but Im just not feelin right about the wig situation

at the beatles. it can't be as bad as you think. it's a very short phase. i too went through it. It gets a lot better from here on out.

So I decided to go back curly for a while I dont know if this disqualifies me from the HYH challenge but I was going insane ....I will chat with my Big Sis and see ...

I am mad that I am having trouble finding a moisturizing conditioner!

i am still upset from a major setback i suffered in sept. 2005. I went from mid-back to shoulder length in one salon visit because of very bad matting. hair is still recovering.

I'm mad cuz:

i spent dern near a year in a weave, and my hair is only 2.5 inches longer than when I put the sucker in.
I got split ends out the wahoo. If I cut them all off, my hair will be SHORTER than when I put the weave in. Humph.
I'm underprocessed cuz I was overeager to relax. I'm mad at the people at PHYTO who don't put enough relaxer in that darn expensive tub of creamy crack for people like me. Double Humph!!

I'm mad because it feels like I am forever waiting on the pot to boil...I am constantly watching and eyeing my hair to see if it is growing and I feel like it is not.

I'm mad because it was because of that AWFUL cut last year that brought me here.

I'm mad that I spent $22 on Kenra shampoo and conditioner only to not be able to return it to TRADESECRETS (no refunds on sale items). The ish does not moisturize.

I'm mad that inspite of my $22 purchase, I still had to go get my beloved Keracare hydrating shampoo. (I LOVE THAT SHAMPOO AND REPENT THAT I HAVE CHEATED ON IT FOR SOOOOOO LONG!)

I'm mad that I have spent money at all on CON green label. That ish does NOTHING to moisturize my hair. I might was well wash with Palmolive. Where is the July misses thread...I need to post that one.

Well, Im mad because Im in the mist transitioning. The ends were starting to look like crap, so I got my hair cut short. Too short. Now, I cant even pull the mess into a ponytail and ponytails were my happy place. Im mad that I cant hold a style unless I go to the hairdressers and they burn the crap outta me and my hair :wallbash:

I'm mad that my hair grows really slowly. And I am also mad that my sides have not grown bakc from last year's set back and it makes my hair looks really thin. I'm also mad that no matter what my hair never has any shine.

i'm mad that:

fermodyl didn't do a daggone thing for my hair
as soon as i find a very moisturizing combo, it stops working for me
that i'm seriously contemplating texlaxing a little straighter (like 75%) because now i'm getting stupid knots
that no matter how hard i try, i can't rollerset and get the results like i get at the dom salon

I'm mad as heck cause my hair just won't do anything right in this hot humid Baltimore Weather. I got so frustrated on Saturday night, I just said forget it, and pulled my hair back into a bun (sacrilidge for me to wear a bun on a Sunday, my free day). Then got up in the morning having it look a hot mess. I had to start from scratch. I finally got a cute style, but it seemed as if nothing would hold down all this "new hair" that I have around my edges and I had to tie my scarf to within an inch of my life just to get it to lay smooth.

I'm mad because:

I got a ugly/ choppy cut two or three months ago and I can't get my hair to look right. Mind you, I asked her for a trim .
I needed those extra four inches to weigh my hair down since I'm transitioning. Now I can't get a full ponytail or bun, but it looks like sh!t if I wear it down.
My relaxed ends are starting to break off like crazy and I think I'm going to have to big chop when I really wanted another six months of transitioning.
I'm starting my fotki this week, probably Friday and my hair is in such bad shape I don't know if I want to put up any pics.
My edges are the nappiest edges this side of the Mississippi. They refuse to be brushed/combed/scarfed into submission. No, they would rather form a halo around my head and make me look a hot mess.

- I'm mad because the only protective style I can get right is a bun.
- I'm mad that all my past breakage hairs stick straight up into the air and nothing I do lays them down.
- I'm mad cause I know my natural hair will be sooo pretty when it gets longer, but I have to wait for it to grow!

And finally I'm am so mad I could spit at SHRINKAGE! :mad:

I'm mad because all of y'all seem to be able to flatiron natural hair so well it looks like a dern Pantene commercial... meanwhile mine looks like naps that have been slightly stretched! :mad:

WTF? WHY is it not working for me? Do I have to break out the grease and Gold 'N Hot?

OT: I'm mad cuz I'm still pregnant in this heat... with 6 weeks to go! :cry:

Maybe your texture is a lil shady right now due to the pregnancy. I noticed when I was preggers that my hair was thick and not so cooperative. 6 weeks aint nothing you can walk that down
