I never even heard of it. Do you know what it does? or what its used for? I really like red palm butter it removes or prevents you from getting those tiny knots, if your natural. I don't know what murumur butter does. Let us know. I might try it.

Girl, you really are thorough. I work in a pharmaceutical company and when I saw the MSDS sheet I was like:eek:  We get our facts down ya'll. These sistas are not playing!

I know this butter was in the original Blended Beauty products, but she said it was too greasy and replaced it with something else.

I know that people who used the BB products with murumuru butter loved them.

Yeah I heard that too. I purchased Happy Nappy Styles after the Murumuru was taken out. I might have to purchase some of this and check it out. PJ POWER!

Hello Trudy,

Where do you purchase your red palm butter? I'm natural and get those tiny knots on my ends, even after the best of detangling. I Googled and found Agbanga Karite https://shop.agbangakarite.com/splashPage.hg
They have a sample for a reasonable price. It'll be a new vendor, but I might take the plunge.

I bought murumuru butter, cupuaca and coffee butter about a year ago after I researched them all thoroughly and, honestly, I found them to be very nice butters, but no better than less expensive butters like shea or mowrah.

Thanks for this. I was really getting that PJ itch. It's much better now.

I made a mix of murumur and castor oil a while ago and loved it. I think it was my best mix ever. I think I'm going to try to suspend it in aloe juice so it's more of a milky dressing...

Sorry I just have to sing my praises once again for the gorgeous butter. I just DC'd with this with some Joico treatment balm. Wow, this is a must have for dry hair. My ends feel so nourished! I need to order me some more!

Where's Mona Lisa at?? I sold her mine because I opened that jar and was like WTF... how am I supposed to use this?? It was like some super hard candle wax... as a true to life PJ.. I just stuck it in a drawer somewhere and went on to the next product stalking.. I got mine from garden state naturals... and it ain't cheap. It's like 45 for 8 ozs...

Does it come in oil? I'm more apt use that.

I can see why this stuff is so expensive, but it's quite concentrated so you don't have to use to much. You can melt it and apply it to the hair, it works just as good. :yep:
