Le tchip!

She knew better and she chose to sit in that chair. Don't we ALL know to trust NO ONE with a scissor near our hair at this point????? Especially if it's not straightened? Huh?

It's really a shame too because her hair is beautiful and 9 inches is no joke.
I'm here struggling to get to 9 inches and he done take a whole 9"s off in 1 go

I just had to find out how much it costs to get a cut from this guy.

So I call the salon and make sure I tell the receptionist that I have natural hair and that I would like my hair cut in its curly state.

She (the receptionist) starts questioning me about how curly my hair is so she can give me a price. She says verbatim "so you have really curly natural hair right ?" I started to respond with "yes just like the girl's hair he butchered" but I know that would end with her hanging up.

Well it's $100....WHY? They better drop that 1. He needs to go back to school and learn.

His fiancé has a video about how they met and they said it was in beauty school. As someone else stated, he may be the reason why her hair is still short. She colors very often and he's basically using her to display his "work."

The YouTuber states after she saw how her hair came out she went back to his Instagram and looked at pics of cuts he did.
All of them look the same. They have a bob shape. I'm not an expert but it looks like he cuts curly hair as if it was straight.

Such a shame...

Ugh that's why I'm afraid of a deva cut though I really do want to get it hair shaped. What are folks supposed to do?

She really didn't need a cut. I thought her shape wad great before.
I want my hair shaped too. I wear my hair curly mostly now but I still don't want one of those choppy hair cuts. It would drive me nuts. I think you can get a good curly shape by cutting long layers the traditional way. I cut my own hair and I'm still trying to perfect it. I don't trust anyone to do it. I'll never get a diva cut though. That concept makes me cringe. It always seems like the cut too much off and the hair takes on a curly mullet look.

It seems like he was trying to give her a curly bob since it's so short in the back and the top is long but that's not what she asked for. I would've smacked his face when he said well I didn't want you to drive all the way out here for nothing :angry2:

First thought.

Next thought. She needs to put this salon on blast. That place needs to be out of business by the end of the month.

Girl! I HOLLERED at this! :lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:

I need to watch this video. Her hair was my hair goals. :nono:

I knew Jewe and I reached out to her. She's such a sweet girl. She can def use this opp as a good thing! Anyway what clown "Vincenzo Stylist":abducted: did was NOT a deva cut whatsoever. I have never once gotten a devacut or seen the technique done by cutting the hair straight across bottom like thato_O He Royally ****** her hair up and unapologetic about it. I hope the natural hair community drags him to oblivion.

I sense him being malicious otherwise I can't understand for the life of me while he would do that.

Deva cut it is done curl by curl and lots of sections etc until desired shape is done. The only stylists I've seen on IG perfectly execute this is Shaimiel in Studio City LA (I let him cut mine) and April at Deva Cuts in NYC. Blame the stylist not the technique. Like someone said a deva cut when done correctly is actually good for someone like her because she only straightens once a year. By the time she straightens the deva would be pretty much grown out and the hair will fall into natural layers. It's not a cut for naturals who constantly are back and forth between curly and straight.

Beautybylee if you see this....don't do it girl! Blink twice if you need help:yawn:

Sounds planned. Shady

Brandi Lofton (another beauty guru) said in the comments she was supposed to go to him too but didn't. Sad because you know they only agreed in the first place because of who he is connected too.

So is he reaching out to these women to do their hsir just to do whatever he wants with their hair or am I reaching?
Looks like he wants to get that youtube/natural hair community money.

If there is any question remaining about his character then have a look for yourself.

^^^:eek::eek::eek: wow.
Did that woman want to be bald in that vid?

Why did he just cut her hair like that? Even once it was curly and he was still cutting...I mean there is no way he needed to cut any more hair, and there is no way she should've let him come near her with scissors at all.

This is a personality thing, his problem is, and the news needs to be publicized WIDELY. I don't want nan 'nother sister to experience this dude nevah. Nevah.

I know if that was me, I would be fighting to not body slam him, and cut him up with his own scissors...but my crew would have demolished his life. My SO would have him laid out like Sunday's best on a Saturday evening.

Is he...racist? From what I'm reading and seeing and hearing...why is he doing this to black women with long hair? Maybe not racist...but a real issue that needs to be dealt with.

Homeboy needs another job :yep:

@SmilingElephant, that's what I saw: I saw myself turning around and grabbing the scissors and STABBING him, and I was like, "Whoah, Yvette! This is just hair!" But it's his actions against her feelings and person, and not just the hair. He slashed his way through her hair and then THREW her hair over her shoulder and ignored her words and concerns.

Something is so off here, in a weird way.
