I want to try this as a shampoo but i'm not sure yet. The ingredients are water, saponified organic coconut & organic olive oils (w/ retained glycerin), organic hemp oil, organic jojoba oil, organic peppermint and mentha arnensis, citric acid and vit E. It smells really minty. It doesn't sound (shampooy:confused: ) though but it might be.
It suppose to have water softening and dirt dissolving properties.

if i use this and since it contains all the oils and the ability to dissolve dirt--does it sound like it would be drying or stripping to the hair? I usually use the keracare but my hair still ends up feeling dry once it air dries. I guess I have a problem with dryness more than not. I spritz it sleep in a shower cap, do the deep condition over night, but still nothing--so I'm thinking about using new products to see what will happen.

TIA

I use it all the time when I bathe and wash my hands, because it’s natural. I pour a little on my washcloth and then I add water to my washcloth. It doesn’t dry my skin, and it lathers wonderfully. I take it into the salon so my stylist can use it on my hair as the first wash. (He’s never complained about it, and he will complain if something doesn’t work well on my hair.) It lathers really well. Then he uses my Cream of Nature moisturizing/detangling formula shampoo as the second wash. The castile soap is definitely a keeper for life--much better than the Trader Joe’s castile peppermint soap I used to use.

I remember Kimmaytube did a ph test on it and it was around 10 on the ph scale which is surprising considering the ingredients. I use it all the time & really like it, actually I love it it has not dried my hair out whatsoever and I love the ingredients and that it is kind to the environment, vegan and fair trade.
