When Do You Moisturize Your Hair?

I try to wash my hair once a week, and do not tend to moisturise my hair between that time. If I do go for longer periods between washes or my hair needs a boost, I will smooth/ scrunch some water into my hair at night, before tying up with a scarf for bed. Occasionally, I baggy my ends.

I've been bunning it for the past few weeks. I take it down on Wednesday nights to re-moisturize and re-bun again. Then depending on how my hair feels, I'll take it down on Fridays; moisturize and re-bun, or I'll just leave it bunned until wash day on Sunday....

I didn't vote because for me it depends. My preference is to do it at night because it seems to take better. The majority of the time it's at night. Often if I moisturize in the morning I may have to do it again at night depending on the style I'm wearing especially the ends.

It depends, normally I moisturize in the morning. If I fluff out my hair in the morning and it's not dry and my curls from a twist out or hairstyle look really good I'll moisturize at night because moisturizers tend to take the curl away and makes my hair frizzy. I don't like moisturizing at night because I feel like most of the products comes off in my scarf. At least in the morning I'm giving my hair the whole day to absorb the product.

Yes, I moisturize every other night. I moisturize with water, butter and oil if needed. My hair seems to drink moisture up quickly, so I need to re-up more often.

It depends. If I'm re-twisting (especially for a twist out), I will moisturize at night. If I need to style in the morning (for an updo or bun) then I moisturize in the morning.

During the week I moisturize my hair when...it's dry. No set time of day or schedule. Usually 2 or 3 times per week.
