What Does It Mean When You Sewins Get Bulky

At the back its really bulky
My sew in was installed
around April 7 (6 weeks ago). I do have a partial and wear my
hair in high ponytails..would this be the reason..

Do you believe its time to get it taken down and re sewed
My tracks tightened, flat ironed or what?

I cannot stand a big bulky weave..
(I cannottt, I cannottt)

Is it time to get resewed or tightened?
Would a high ponytail be the cause of the
bulk?

Could the bulkiness be from new growth? If it's starting to look "weave-y", it probably is time for it to be redone. The 3 month guideline may be because of different hair growth rates. Someone with slower growing hair may not need o get their weaves redone/tightened as often as someone whose hair grows fast.

Do your hair grows faster in the back?

Also seems like your high pony maybe causing this problem, pulling tracks up.

I would get an new installment in this scenario.

How long do you ladies wait to put in a new install, after take down?
I'm new to sew ins.

It might be the braid pattern. Straight backs do not work for long or thick hair imo. The longest I kept a install is about 9 weeks but the last two was a struggle so 6 weeks is not bad. I know that there are stylists out there that specialize in 3 month+ installs but i wouldn't try it. I love trying out new dc's so 3 or 4 weeks is my sweet spot!
