Bone and seamless combs lovers who use dryer comb attachment

Does it worry you that it may break your hair? I spent lots of money on my bone and seamless combs but I can't find something similar for dryer attachments. I can only blowout my hair properly this way so it sucks to takes all these cares using my seamless combs only to follow up with a seamed comb attachment.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for non-damaging comb attachments?

I usually air dry so I hardly ever use a blow dryer but when I do I will hold my wet hair in one hand and in the other hand I will hold the blow dryer on a cool setting and run the blow dryer along the length of my stretched hair. I do not use the comb attachment. I hope this makes sense.

That sounds like a pretty good technique:yep: Do you then flat iron after?

Nix08, I only blow dry my hair about 2 times a year. I only flat iron about 3 times a year and that is just to trim my hair. Typically, I will roller set my hair and then style in either a bun, french twist, braid out or twist out or some other protective style.

Have you tried filing down the seam and then using something to seal it over? That's the only thing I can think of.

Also, this is pretty hard to do on your own hair, but maybe if you learned the chase method using your seamless combs that would work too.

I have tried that twice but it just didn't work for me.

That's a good idea. I will take a look at the comb to see if it's possible to file it down.

I like to think using an ionic hair dryer makes up for for the non seamless comb - but you can blow dry your hair using your seamless comb while you point the hairdryer at the section you are combing.

Bumping for more ideas...right now it looks like I might have to go with the option of filing the comb attachment with a fine nail file.
