When You Try To Make A Particular Line Work For You

Cantu.. I really tried.. and I will not take advice from anyone that uses that line as well! Lol that person hair is nothing like mine and can handle things mine can’t!
I tried to make ORS work... heavy and drying, and just sits on top of my hair.
Shea moisture

Lol sometimes when a product gives me good results, I feel a strong desire to make all the other products from the same line work for me as well. But it doesn't always work out.
I have tried this with CRN, Mielle Organics, and Curl Junkie, but no luck. I think that my regimen will have to consist of varied products alas!

Yes, there are a couple of Jane's products that are great, but not holy grail.

Curls Blueberry Bliss line. I used the whole line from shampoo to the oil exclusively for a whole month and I was not impressed. I need more moisture from my products.

I can still use them individually along with other stuff, but I can get better results from Cantu natural. at a fraction of the cost.

Yepppppppp! I'm already thinking about hmmmm what lines or products can I use when I'm finally natural again. I've tried so many products and none really wowed me. The one main product that wowed me for my twist outs and moisture the formula's changed.

I've been doing well for the last several years of not being a PJ. I'm so behind on the new products that are popular on the board, I had decided to treat myself to a new line of products with the Curls stuff.

Soooo, since that wasn't a rave product for me, I will just stick to DCs and leave-ins from now on instead of a whole line of new and untested products.

Yes!
I've had the most good results with Oyin so imma try to make the line work for me.
I love their Dew, Honey hemp conditioner, bsp and J&B.
My hair is not particular about shampoo so...
And I am trying to replace my holy holy grail hair cream (Bekura palm tapioca:notworthy:) with the Whipped Pudding. As long as it's good enough, I can work with it, it doesn't have to be holy holy grail. Because I am tired of ordering from so many different companies.

OT
I just realized my not-so-local Target didn't have any Oyin on the shelves.

I have come to this conclusion, as well. I can't use one line for my hair b/c it's always an issue down the line, e.g., the condish is great, but the shampoo doesn't remove build up so my hair slowly becomes more gunky, the shampoo is great but the condish is too light so my hair is aways dry. It's frustrating. So now I have been mix matching and testing the waters and so far so good.

I've never tried to make one line my go-to.
I don't think I ever could because I love variety.

I'm always fascinated by folks who can make one line work for them (not just certain products).

I would never use one line. A couple of lines, but would have a wash day with a specific line.

The pudding worked for me on top of the pomade

I tried to make shea moisture work for my hair.

But now I'm appreciating Shea moisture for what it does best, as a body care line. Yay for killing winter ashiness

I’m trying to get down to one company, and use lines within that company for a specific need,
But I have been able to use one line in the past with no issues.
Anything else is somebody being a product junkie.
