I know exactly who you’re speaking of, and felt some kind of way when the stylist was blamed.

I've never understood that. And I've relaxed parts of my hair 3 times over with lye before ( the back part of my hair is highly resistant, really all of it is) and never had any hair loss.

Believe me...I learned the hard way when I was in college and went from APL to ear length within a matter of minutes. Not a single burn on my scalp. While she may not have lost her hair at the follicle, the relaxer, especially when applied on top of color improperly, will literally melt the strands.

That said...I didn't even watch the video. There's something about people crying in non-cinematic, non-documentary, YouTube-based videos that is so inauthentic. Like edit that **** out yo!
