How Often Do You Shampoo Your Hair?

:look: Every day.

Edited to add more details:

While some have reported it left their hair felling like straw, I have found the best detangler in the Roux Keratin shampoo. Conditioners have a habit of clumping my hair, which is not what I need when I'm trying to detangle.

I have fine hair that starts shrinking and tangling the second I get out from under the shower. Keeping tangles in check on a daily basis has helped with my retention and sanity (tangles on fine hair are no joke). Leaving it for two days or more is asking for trouble. And simply rinsing my hair with water alone creates the most stubborn tangles ever!

Because I head-off any issues before they start, it's only an additional 5 minutes to my showering routine, and I prefer that over a 45 minute production on Sundays. I skip the conditioner and go straight to my styling product, which I run over my dripping wet hair, shake, and go. My hair has never looked better.

I keep it simple and am glad my hair allows me to be that basic. Now all I need is length so I can cut it into an actual style and I'll be set!

Same here. I have started shampooing everyday. I use a very mild tea tree oil shampoo bar that does not strip my hair at all. The reason why I'm shampooing everyday is because since going natural, I have been using heavy pomades and heavy leave-ins to keep my hair moisturized and I just want it washed out at the end of the day since heavy products tend to attract a lot of dirt. I'm also growing out my twa and it is getting fuller and longer each week it seems so daily shampooing is working for me.

Shampooing, massaging that scalp, cleaning and hydrating it promotes growth! I keep telling people, but a lot of people either haven't found the right method, or the product to do it. I wash my hair 2-3 a week.

I wash with shampoo once a week (weekend). I co-wash mid week ((Wednesday mornings) ; however I rinse my hair every morning while showering

I'm easy going.

Do you still shampoo daily? If so, is your hair growing faster? I'm thinking about washing once a month :look:

It did not work for me the first time. I'll try again. There is no real risk in trying this.

Yes, I still shampoo daily. I am not of the opinion that this is what makes hair grow and I feel that my hair is growing at a steady and decent rate. What I have noticed is that I am retaining length due it to being moisturized and my hair is very strong due to it being kept clean as well as the leave-ins and pomades that I use. Oh, and exercise and diet is on point so I think that helps as well.

I shampoo about every two weeks depending on my schedule and how my hair feels. Sometimes I stretch it out to three weeks. Rarely wash weekly. Almost never co-wash, only if I need a really quick wash and I'm in a hurry. But then I will go back and shampoo later.

I cowash daily and use shampoo every 4 -6 weeks or whenever my hair asks. I don't use heavy products that require heavy suds. Most of my products rinse out with just water.

I was rocking a twa the last time I posted in this thread hence the daily co-washing. Currently I use shampoo 1X per week (usually on the weekends) and co-wash mid-week or as needed. Still using water soluble products that rinse easily out of my hair.

This sounds so sweet, if I ever had a big chop/twa I think I would look forward to this the most. I remember when my friend bc'd yearssssss ago and would wash her hair daily and every.single.time she came around she smelled heavenly. Like the scent of her hair would just fill the car, she said her SO loved it.
