Hit: Black Castor and Flaxseed Oil Eco Style Gel. Mayunnnnn! Has my cottony 4a hair defined and so pretty!

Miss: Buying two plastic dresser draws to clean up and organize my hair products, oils, powders, and tools and it barely making a dent.
Would you give some stuff away to downsize, or are those your Precious? Lol do you just look at your stash sometimes?

I’m happy somebody listening. :lachen:I be rollin my eyes so hard at folks asking for good moisturizing DCs. Like come on sis. I know you see KB being mentioned all up and down these LHCF streets. You can lead dry hair to water but you can’t make it drink. :spinning:

I want to be excited, but everyone raved about Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkin Seed DC this same way, and it did nothing for my hair.

It makes me feel like my hair is just really different from most folks'.

That said, I do love the ingredients in those KB DCs! I just discovered that honey is amazing in DCs for my hair.

Lol. I have tried and tried to give stuff away.

This stash has happened over about 4 years.

I'd say about 30% is from getting the included-with-premium-registration, large bags from hair conventions.

I don't want to ship them to people.

There is this one local hair meet up. As soon as they throw another swap/exchange meet up, I'm going to drop off everything I can.

Major Miss- Curls sending me a product review survey before the send out a shipping notice

Same with me with Bask & Bloom. :ohwell:

On a positive note, earlier B&B did smartly send an email explaining why I should wait a few days before seeing movement despite having received a shipping notice. I thought that showed that they know and understand their customers.

Then the survey issued before any movement.

See that would test my patience

Miss. Huuuuuuuuuge miss.

I don't get it. I get an email saying my Bask & Bloom order came in yesterday but could not be delivered because "the receptacle was blocked."

Eh?

I went to our block's mailbox. I opened our mailbox. No blockage.

I sent an email to B&B as prompted. Guess I'll call the post office.

I’ve had that before. Then, the next day, it’s delivered. I think they do that to save themselves for not attempting delivery when the package is on the truck.

At least you received a notice saying it's been delivered. Obia and Bask&Bloom are on the same wavelength of shenanigans: both sent me tracking information where my products have not arrived at USPS yet, both sent surveys prior to receiving said products, and I still haven't received my blasted order. I'm starting to get frustrated. Everything else I ordered during BF and Cyber Monday has arrived.

Hit: Keravada HydroMax Cowash
It's very moisturizing, yet my hair felt strong.

Meh: Keravada Caramel Soufflé Detangling Leave-in
It's a little bit on the thick side. I was able to detangle my hair, but I think I let it dry a little too much for it to be effective. I will try it again before I rule it as a miss.

As I Am CoWash Conditioner - this might as well be shampoo. It's not stripping, but I definitely need to follow with a DC to restore softness (rinse out conditioner didn't cut it!), which defeats the purpose of co-washing.
I have the new line one, and it states to follow up with conditioning. I guess that’s why I like it. I didn’t pay attention to the directions before and wondered why my hair felt dry after it dried. I used it earlier today, but read the directions this time around. But you are right, it does defeat the purpose of cowashing.

Tentative staple (can't say "hit" yet): Bask & Bloom Brahmi Root Masque

Back story: My hair was dry and rough. I did not prepoo (just couldn't add that kind of time this time). I washed with a rhassoul and bentonite clay bar that did not really condition or moisturize my hair, so it was super rough and dry feeling post-wash.

Review: This masque came through!!! I applied to damp hair and wore the masque under heat and then ended up leaving it in for a few hours while I did other stuff. I rinsed it out with VERY cool water (uncomfortably cold water) at the kitchen sink. My hair was soft and I could tell that it was hydrated and "conditioned." :yep: I can only IMAGINE how the masque will do my hair if I've properly prepooed and have cleansed with a moisturizing/conditioning poo bar.

I'm happy for you! I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.

Hit:

Adding honey to my DC. I've been doing this for over a month now and I wish I started doing it sooner. My hair is so soft & so easy to detangle after rinsing. Definitely something I will continue to do. Such a godsend for me especially since I'm transitioning to natural and I'm 6 months post.

I so agree. I only used this once and it was horrible. It felt like a shampoo for me. I immediately dumped it in the trash!
