Shea Moisture Red Palm Oil And Cocoa Butter Line For Shrinkage

It's at Sally's.

I can't describe the smell, but it's super light.

The labels all have words I want to hear, LOL. However, I'm going to wait on folks' reviews.

It would be awesome to reduce tangling by reducing shrinkage, but it almost sounds to good to be true. I've purchased so many products with the same claim that failed.

However, if it is effective, I'll likely purchase as long as it's available. This is my main retention issue.

Oh my. I haven't seen this line anywhere in my area, but I'll keep an eye out. The shampoo is the only thing* I may pick up, since I don't have a staple moisturizing shampoo.

I thought SM was on the #donotbuyeveragain list. lol

Lol! I discussed where I'm at with that in that SM thread. Many people will never buy SM again, and I understand.

ETA: I was able to meet with the CEO and one of the outreach folks and email back and forth a few times. It took awhile because I was really outdone by the SM shenanigans, but I now purchase the SM Manuka masque since it's the only one so far that works for me. I'm still looking for a replacement.

I've been using a few of their products (before and after the fiasco) which work well for me after avoiding them for years. I didn't get caught up in the politics.

What did the CEO have to say?

I haven't completely banned SM but I replaced almost all of their products, and found my HG's (TGIN and Qhemet), which turned out to be much better for my hair. I can't give up is their raw shea butter detangler. If only kkkt played well with other products... sigh

I may try the pudding because of the red palm oil and cocoa butter as a leave in under eco styler gel.

Interesting how no one asks how many product lines will Loreal, Pantene, TRESemme, etc. create....... IJS
Isn't shea moisture supposed to be sold to unilever or something? Same difference.
Guess it doesn't matter now.

It would be one thing if they were just creating a new line every other day. But there's also the fact that they change their formulas with no notice AND deny it.

But...

Not in our hands anymore.

SM is on my do not buy list and that has been reenforced by sundail being acquired by Unilever. I'm eliminating Unilever products from my home anyway. SM never really worked for me anyway. I used their masques regularly for deep conditioning but I'm down to only a couple of jars at this point. I've been trying other DC's. Mane choice and mielle have become my go to brands lately. https://www.unilever.com/news/Press-releases/2017/unilever-to-acquire-sundial-brands.html
