Wooow, it's been a minute since I've journeyed back on this side of the board. I suppose I had forgotten why originally started posting . I cut my hair to below APL/BSB length summer of 2016 just for a change and to get rid of some splits. I've dusted only since then, using the S&D to get rid of split ends. Had a really bad bout of shedding around spring of 2017 from which I'm just now recovering from. I've come to accept the fact that my hair grows in a V and I'm embracing it. Starting this month, I'll be braiding it up for at least the next 4-6 months- I'm pretty much over hair growth in general lol. Once it completely touches the lower part of my back, I think I would be quite content. I've been enjoying my hair and just going to go with the flow- it seems to be growing along just fine.

Current Regi

Straight: Wash 1x every 2-2.5 weeks (Pantene Clarifying shampoo), DC with African Royale Hot Six Long & Strong Protein Treatment followed by Organix argan oil conditioner or Theorie Argan oil condition for slip. Aphoghee treatment 1x every 6 weeks. Also rotate with Redken Anti Snap shampoo and conditioner, and Cat 5 protein treatment

Natural: Wash 1x per week using the same products. Also incorporate hot oil pre-poo treatment with African Royale hot six oil and Jamaican black castor oil. Use Ion miracle leave-in treatment and keratin spray with Organix (OGX) argan oil creamy hair butter. Seal with Hot six oil or vaseline- whatever I reach for first.

Without further ado, here's my hair today...hopefully I can finally make hip length this year.

Extremely haphazardly lol, but thank you. I use 1/4 a vial of Beigen powder (I think color 58, either dark brown or black brown). I only cover the grays around my edges. Maybe the color run off has an enhancing effect? I want chocolate and caramel highlights but I'm chicken . I may get some clip ins and test it first

Do you color your hair? The color is so rich and even.
