I have been super lazy with this extended time off. I definitely enjoyed it. I did absolutely nothing, ate everything and put on some weight. I have been keeping up with my vitamins and magnesium. I've been doing just OK with my water. Today I got in a round of yoga. I will ease into the New Year with yoga. After two weeks of yoga, I will alternate yoga and cycling.

I will get my eating back on track on Tuesday.

Starting January 14th, I plan to work this thread and the Dream Body in 2018 thread hard!

I'm so excited about achieving the triple whammy this year!!!: Beautiful face/complexion, beautiful body/figure, beautiful hair.

I just spent $5.35 total on 5 Jillian Michaels DVDs at the Dollar Tree. :yep: This forum rocks.

I'm thinking about incorporating one hair growth smoothie a day. It'll have to be delicious (likely low-fat ice-cream -based) for me to desire it daily. :scratchchin: I wonder if I could crush up my supplements and vitamin in it. Collagen and iron need vitamin C and the former doesn't like to compete with other protein. Off to research . . .

If you're into protein smoothies and need vitamin C, Camu Camu powder has a TON of it. I got mine from terrasoul.com. They sell on Amazon also.

FREE RESOURCE
Habit Tracker

If you have a habit tracker -- say, on your phone -- and it's working awesome for you, no need to read further. If you could use a habit tracker spreadsheet (either an Excel sheet or a PDF version), please read on!

Excel Sheet and PDF Habit Tracker Form
I have made my own version of Finally Fiona's Habit Tracker (see below) in both spreadsheet and PDF form. I did this for two reasons: (1) I don't like having to give people my email address all of the time. (2) I have made available the original Excel spreadsheet of the one I made, so that folks can type onto the Excel spreadsheet if they like.

Here they are:

PDF: https://blossomingfitnatural.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/habittrackermyversion1-5.pdf
Excel sheet: https://blossomingfitnatural.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/habittracker1-5.xlsx

Here's how it works:
  • Use the file digitally (in Excel on your computer or phone) and never print it . . . OR type in some stuff on the Excel sheet and then print it to use by hand . . . OR simply print the PDF and use it by hand.
  • Check of what month it is.
  • Fill in the days of the week beneath the dates.
  • List the habits you are building in the first column (you can type these on the Excel sheet and then print if you like, or type them on the Excel sheet and never print and simply use the file on your computer).
  • If you like, shade in or box the days you intend to do certain habits that are not DAILY habits. The shading/boxing of an empty box will indicate that you intend to do the activity/action on that day.
  • As the days go by, place a checkmark or "x" in the appropriate boxes.
If you print it out, you can tape it on the inside of your pantry, kitchen cabinet, etc. where you will frequently see it.

If you aren't into doing things on paper by hand, you can open the Excel file on your phone, or you can snap a picture of the print paper and simply use it as a reminder.

Here's what it looks like.

Finally Fiona's On-Paper Habit Tracker
As I mentioned, Finally Fiona offers a free PDF Habit Tracker. Even though it is a printable (and not a digital resource), it might be helpful. To receive it, you submit your email address to her site, and then after activating a "subscription" to her site, she then emails you a free copy of the Habit Tracker.

Here is where you can get Fiona's Habit Tracker: http://www.finallyfiona.com/free-printables-to-smash-your-goals/.
Many blessings, all!

Completed 4.24 miles today. I did not reach my water intake today, but there is tomorrow. I start my 7 day juice cleanse tomorrow. The first three days are going to be a :angry2: but it will be smooth sailing after that. It looks like everyone is off to a good start.
Good luck and a healthy journey for all!:toocool:

2.61 miles completed today. I was going to strength train today, but everyone was in the gym today kicking up dust. I started my juice cleanse today and I also added raw food, so I could nosh on something. Everything was going well until I had to go to the PX to purchase a shovel, which I did get along with a pack of Twizzlers. :chocbunny:Gosh the journey just started...:spank:

I made DH pack my exercise equipment on our trip. I haven't touched one! This will be the second year in a row that this happens unless I get on the stick. I will never live it down if that happens, and it will be almost impossible to get him to pack them again. We leave Sunday.

On a good note: I have been eating very healthily. I feel like I may have gained back only 1 or 2 pounds at the most this holiday. Woot!!! :woot:
