Hair Confessions 2018

I blew my natural hair out and flat iron a few days ago. I instantly didn't like because it looked and felt my relaxer days were back. I truly don't miss how fine and wispy my hair use to.....But I confess am still clueless on how to style my natural hair without a whole lot of gel....

I need to increase the amounts of washes I do with my hair.
and also leave it in it's natural state sometimes.

I'm just hair lazy. And on top of that, I wanna try ALL the things. It seems like I can't stick to a set routine or product or style. I'm doing better about washing and deep conditioning though, so there's that.

I confess that I absolutely love Shea Moisture’s masques. With the exception of that gross Purification one, all of the others that I’ve sampled perform exceptionally well. If I need a fix of moisture or balance without all kinds of rigamarole, I can always reach for one of those masques and know that everything is gonna be alright in the end. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the 87 jars in my stash are all gone. Say what you want about SM and the owner’s dumbassedness, but those masques are dope.

me too! i clarify nearly every wash.
i want to try the Redken stuff. I may get some this week because i'm tiring of Quantam.

OMG it's on sale for 14.99 from 34.99 at Ulta! That had better be the in store price or I will be salty.
Anyone know if they do the same sales online and in store? I think I'll phone and ask and have them hold a bottle for me. 14.99 for a liter is a steal.

It's now called Redken Clean Maniac Hair Cleansing Cream. I compared the ingredients and they haven't changed.

I confess that...
Hair doesn't excite me any more.
I rarely moisturize and seal during the week.
I use sulfates and will continue. (+1 for Redken Cleansing Cream @rileypak)
I wash my hair about once a month and hate having to do it then.
I'm tired of looking at a ton of unused products.

Hugs! I know you have a lot of products! I use everything because I’m just wired special and crazy! Lol But I did give a lot of stuff to a neighbor. You will play and sample in them one day. I’m glad you are still kickin it with us!

Have you ever seen someone fresh out the chair and their hair looks like it's not done? It was as if she let a teen doing hair in the basement do it. :nono:

As a matter of fact I won't insult the teens.
And to think she was so proud of going to a Celebrity salon. I feel bad for :lol:

. But for 65.00 plus 20.00 tip it was horrible. Wheww, the burn smell was so pungent that I was 5 feet away and it tackled my nose hairs.

I kinda miss being a PJ. I mean, I am glad that I finally have staples but I miss the excitement of trying new products and waiting for it to arrive in the mail like a kid on Christmas. My PayPal doesn’t miss it, but I kinda do.

But at least once a month I have a fantasy of me with hip length hair, sitting between my future husband's (he looks like Larenz Tate) legs while he twists my hair for bed. :look:

He has big muscles with tattoos lol

Me too! I find plenty of times when the label changes, so does the formula. I hate that. If the product is good, I will hunt down that old formula!
