Did another perm rod set this weekend. Hair looks the same as my last post lol.
I did notice I am on day 3 and my hair is still super moisturized. I am converting this style over to twists tonight because my hair will be dry as a bone soon and will tangle up. Next set is scheduled for Saturday with a flat iron in there so I can trim.

For the last 2 wash days, I've airdried in 3-4 braids and set the last 6-8 inches on flexi rods.

I'm constantly looking for ways to streamline my wash day and I think I will park it here for a while. I can braid my hair while rinsing out my conditioner in the shower, towel dry for 30 minutes and then set the ends with the rods. Easy peasy. I still get a nice stretch which is what I look for when setting and not so much a style.

Gorgeous! I wish my hair looked like that in airdried braids. How long is your hair stretched now? TBL? My hair would have to grow to my knees to get that type of hang time after air drying.

Thanks Sis! I haven't done a pull test for a few months now, but when I did...it was in my butt area. I would say around classic maybe? It may be longer than that now.

049C4EC6-2A14-4C55-8750-83283B142E8C.jpeg Here is my set from yesterday. I rolled my hair and then flat ironed it straight and gave myself a 1/4-1/2 inch trim.

I bought wayyyyy to much serum in my hair so it super weighed down. Oh well I am only wearing it out today and tomorrow so that’s fine. I’m going to twist it up tomorrow evening.

I did a rollerset using the tension/hourglass rollers last weekend. It gave me great stretch.

I set my hair with my Carusos yesterday and today for a spiral Bantu-knot-outish look... I know I won’t have Caruso time in the morning before work, so I set my hair on perm rods using Mane Choice Curl Boosting Sherbet for a work style. I spiral the hair around the rod for a chunk spiral look.

Did a rollerset on dry hair so was expecting loose curls, I’m fairly happy with this. Creme Magistral is lovely my hair feels very soft.

Oh well I tried to upload and it failed. :ohwell:

Very nice! Your hair looks so smooth and silky. What serum did you use?

Washed, DC’d, and rolled with my tension rollers. I dried under my Pibbs, and I’m now laying watching Netflix with a head full of rollers because I don’t feel like pulling them out yet.

I’ve actually missed rollersettomg since I’ve been natural. Today’s rollerset was quicker than the last one. My 4c hair needs tension rollers instead of the magnetics.
