Let's Talk About Shower Caps!

Hey ladies,
I've been on the hunt for a very roomy, extra large shower cap that does not get the hair wet. It's a deal-breaker for me if the hair gets wet.

I have not been able to find one for years. I've done searches on LHCF and online many times and have been unable to find a good one. I've actually wasted a lot of money on a bunch of duds.

I desperately need your help, and I bet I'm not the only one looking for a great shower cap. Can you please post your recommendations? I would prefer a black-owned company, but I am open to all companies.

I'm wondering the same as you.

@rileypak, thanks for your recommendation. I like that theEbonicurls cap is lined with satin. It looks great, but it says it is water resistant only...so has your hair gotten wet (through the cap or around the edges)? I prefer a black-owned company, so this is really intriguing me.

I hate fabric lined shower caps. They get moldy and the plastic outer part can't go in the washer. I barely use a shower cap anymore, but when it's necessary I use a plain one with sturdy plastic.

Never through the cap, maybe slightly around the edges if I pull it up too far...

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'm not sure if this would work for me because I don't want my edges wet. I don't straighten my hair often, but if I do, I don’t want to undo all of that hard work. I need a shower cap that I don’t have to ever worry that my hair would get wet. Maybe that isn't possible...

My edges nor hair get wet with mine. It’s quite big.
