This Thread is dedicated to Our LHCF Sister Allandra, who I was sadly informed passed away last week!

Allandra loved this thread and doing her Hair especially after she went Natural.

I enjoyed reading her post how she was keeping things simple with her hair.

Let's all say a prayer for Allandra's Family during this time.

Let's ALL do our Hair in Her Honor This Weekend!

I will continue to dedicate the weekend threads this month to our fellow Sister, Ms. Allandra.

I was really saddened by the news of her passing. Even though I never got the chance to get to know her better but I definitely noticed that this thread was her favourite thread and the one that she frequented most often. May she rest in peace!

Yesterday I kept it simple:

Water rinsed, and styled applying:
APB Creamy Hair Pudding
Shea buttercreme mix
Diluted gel.

I plan on getting braids in a couple of weeks for Spring Break but in the mean time, tomorrow I will:
Prepoo: Hairveda Vatika Frosting
Cleanse: MC Halo Shampoo
DC: Going to try the MC Green Tea and Carrot Mask (just to switch it up)
Leave In: Redken Anti-Snap leave in
Cream/Style: APB Hair Cream, Sarenzo Whipped Jelly on ends
Put in twists for, you guessed it, a twist out

My hair is currently in twists with added Marley hair.

I shampooed with Palmers coconut oil shampoo. I looooove this shampoo, so gentle and moisturizing.

Currently deep conditioning with Joico Kpak hydrator.

I'm going to moisturise with Palmer coconut oil leave in and seal with my ayuvedic oil.

Flawless smoothing shampoo, conditioner, and mask.
Dry in twists.
Moisturize with Wave Nouveau Moisturizing Lotion and seal with whipped Shea butter.
Cornrow for wavy, crochet locs.

Wash day tomorrow will be dedicated to Allandra
Wash: Natures Advantage Honey Almond Poo
Detangle: Natures Advantage Conditioner
DC: Elasta QP DRP-11 This is new to me and I'm excited to try it!
STYLE: Reset my wash n go with ORS Leave-in & the new Eco Gold.
Go back under the dryer for a half hour and go about my Sunday...getting ready for Monday!

This is my clarify and protein treatment weekend.

Pre-poo: Annabelles Pre-Poo Treatment under heat for 20 mins.
Clarify: Redken Cleansing Conditioner
Poo: Keracare Hydrating Detangling Poo
Protein Treatment: Komaza Care Protein Strengthener
DC: Naturelle Grow Marshmallow Root and Slippery Elm Bark Dc under heat for 30 mins.
Rinse Out Conditioner: Bee Mine
Leave-ins: Annabelles/Oil/Mixed Chicks
Dry: Air dry
Style: Bun

Simple wash day today, but I've been relying on the blowdryer a lot these past wash days

Shampoo: Redken Hair Cleansing Cream
DC: Dr. Miracle super strength (meh)
Condition: HEHH
Rinse: ACV
Leave-ins: aphogee provitamin, SM c&s conditioner, aveda naturally straight, tresemme keratin heat protectant
Stretch: blowdry on hot (I need a blowdryer with a warm setting)

Back into buns for the next week or so

Re-twisted my locs last night. I noticed that I had a few locs that are thinning close to the roots. I think I'm going to take a break from twisting for a while and just stick to shampoo'ing and conditioning for a few months.

Wash with Mane Choice Easy on The Curls Shampoo
DC with Eden Body Works Jojoba and Monoi Natural Deep Conditioner
Moisturized with TGIN Leave In and Komaza Califia Moisturizing Cream. Sealed with Blue Magic Hair Grease

Put hair into 4 plaits and pinned down. Wearing Outre Tammy half wig for the week
