Last night I did the following:
Prepoo'd w/ @Chicoro method
Washed w/ Joico MRB
DC overnight w/ Joice MRB mask + detangled

This morning I did the following:
Rinsed out conditioner
Sprayed hair with It's a 10 Leave in
Did a rollerset with my hour glass rollers
Once dry ran a dab of Chi Silk Infusion through my hair, wrapped hair with saran wrap and went back under the dryer for 15 min, put hair up in a banana clip

Tonight I will do the following:
Spray hair with Tresemme heat protectant
Flat Iron with my new Sedu 1 1/2 inch professional flat iron (I may use my FHI as well. We shall see how it the Sedu works)
I may or may not wrap my hair and go under the dryer again.

I am trying to perfect my rollerset game. I got a really good set and my roots got even more straight after I sat back under the dryer. I could probably stop at this step and not flat iron in the future for super fluffy hair. But I am going for a straight sleek look for my evening/weekend activities

I'm really all about not doing anything to my hair during the week: accept moisturize and seal with my Shea butter mix.

This weekend, will be more of my usual. Wash and condition. I'm curious to see the amount of growth achieved but too lazy to flat-iron.
I fell on the wig band wagon and I may go to the BSS to see if I can get a convincing phony pony to hid my ends for the week (maybe in a baggy, we'll see)

Mondays and Thursdays are supposed to be my hair days. I did nothing Thursday because my hair was looking alright.

Deciding: So now I'm trying to decide what styler to use for a new twist out. Should I satisfy my curiosity to see what a Bronner Brothers gel twist out looks like, and how long it will look good? Or should I do a second trial of The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa Pearly Braid Out Glaze, being less heavy handed this time? Decisions! I thank God I'm blessed to have choices. Hmm. :scratchchin:

I had my hair straightened last Sunday. Though I never put any product in it, by Thursday it was limp, slippery and just not doing it for me. I did a JBCO scalp massaged, preepooed with Carol's Daughter Rhassoul Clay mask, shampooed with Shea Moisture (I think it's African ginger and mint?) and then finished with a 5 minute DC.

I didn't like the shampoo I used since it didn't get my hair clean, so I'll probably follow up with another shampoo tomorrow or after the gym. The DC I used made my hair feel coated. Can't remember the brand, but it's Babassu and Mint.

My hair's just in a high puff right now, I put in leave in and then literally did nothing since I'm going to the gym. I'll probably be doing sleek buns for the rest of the month.

Saturday PM
Overnight pre poo with my Chirp oil Mask

Sunday AM/PM
Cleanse: Kerastase Magistral Bain
DC: Kerastase Magistral
Leave ins: Aphogee Pro Vitamin, Kerastase Magistral Creme

Air Dry
Satin rollers

Will wear a loose/messy bun during the week

I've decided not to put in the satin rollers. I'm going to simply do two pocahontas plaits then pin them up.

I ended up doing the following:
  1. Goody Ouchless Updo Barrettes (the small ones):
    Section into 6 sections.
  2. 22nd Century Natural Shampoo Bar:
Finger detangle (no tools) and cleanse.
  3. The Mane Choice Green Tea & Carrot Seed Oil (or whatever) mask:
Deep condition (no heat this time, just because I was busy).
  4. Bronner Brothers Firm Hold Curling Gel:
Install 6 two-strand twists on each half of my head. Install super skinny, red perm rods to the end of each twist. Dry under HairFlair attachment to handheld dryer.
  5. Styling:
When still slightly damp (because otherwise, the Bronner Brothers gel might cement my ends together), take down twists, separate them, and shape the hair to wear a twist out.
  6. Overnight protection and preservation:
Loc sock -looking thing from Walgreens. No retwisting on that first night. Will likely retwist on subsequent nights.

No washing this week. I only moisturized and sealed my hair with APB Refresher Spray and my DIY Shea Butter Blend.

I also massaged some Natur Growth CastorArgan Scalp Drops in my scalp for a few minutes. My scalp is feeling wonderfully invigorated.
