Either A Blessing Or A Lesson.
Maynnnnnn, I just went over to that 40% BBW sale to buy ONE three wick Strawberry three wick candle. Then I couldn't remember if it was Strawberry Mimosa or Strawberry cupcake so I put both in the cart. Then I realized that I needed a three wick candle holder so that got added. I went to the cart and saw that my order was under $40 dollar free shipping limit so then I searched by "pineapple". Next thing I got $86 worth of stuff in my cart that I now have decided that I desperately need since it's 40% off.

I got my final order down to $60 including tax but remember I was only supposed to buy one thing. These sales keep suckering me.

:lachen:

I had to come in here for a good belly laugh because those sales suck me in too, especially candle and body butter sales.

I have not tried my Qhemet samples in my hair yet but since they are having a sale today I decided to sample the products on my skin for a smell and texture test on different parts of my hands and arms. The only thing that I super liked on GP was the Coca Tree Detangling ghee. So I made a mental note to buy some after I got done with the B&BW sale.

A funny thing happened though. As I was sitting spending too much money on the combined smell of the CTDG, Amla and Olive cream, Burdock Root cream and Aethiopika twist butter had me in my feelings. If "Spoken Word" had a smell it would be all of those Qhemet products mixed together. I feel like I smell like blackness. I bought a CTDG. This stuff is too expensive to use as a body cream but I have a use for it if it doesn't work in my hair.

thanks for posting this @PJaye
Have you tried any of their products, if so, which ones and how did you like them? Anyone else can chime in please.

I’ve sampled the Coconut Kukui Double Moisture Overnight Mask and Hibiscus Shea Curl Hydrating Conditioner. Curl Origin is an SSI sister line. The Overnight Mask has the same consistency as the SSI masks, so it applied well and gave the impression that it would have decent slip. Each time I’ve used it (once after a hard protein treatment), it always left me with soft, moisturized and emollient hair. The Hibiscus Conditioner also has a similar consistency to SSI products, namely the Sugar Peach and Avocado conditioners. However, that is where the resemblance ends. It offered mediocre slip, very little softness and no moisture. I also have the Coconut Kukui Curl Enhancing Moisture Butter, Bamboo Blossom Twist & Twirl Defining Cream, Hibiscus Shea Curling Custard and Manic Mango LI (I was blinded by the frenzy of a 50% sale:look:). Since they all look pretty similar in consistency, I haven't been moved to sample them yet.

Very good review @PJaye. Thanks for sharing your experience with them. I prepared a cart but decided to wait this time around. When I do decide to try them, I will try the Overnight mask and the Hibiscus leave-in since they are the only 2 I'm very interested in getting at the moment.
