OK, Mama, I is here. Just did my hair with ACV rinse, layered pumpkin seed oil over it for finger detangling, final oil rinse/detangling with Castor Mix #6, headband, shake and go. Randomly shake throughout the day to remove water.

For DD its gonna be a rebraid & remoisturize after a week of cornrows...just gonna change her parts around a bit.

For me: wash, DC and reset my washn go. I'll be back with specific products when I'm knee deep in the process.

I am unfortunately having to take my mini twists down. :( I accidentally got some of them wet and the shrinkage was so severe, they went from shoulder length to above ear length. And since I've been exercising and sweating, the roots are starting to mat and it looks like I'm trying to start locs. And I'm not.

Once they are all down, I'm going to do a super deep moisturizing treatment and roller set to stretch. IF I have enough time, I'll maybe put in some crochet braids.

DD is rocking a braid out today. She has dance class so hopefully, her curls will keep for church tomorrow.
I'm under the dryer with GLISS liquid keratin DC and will be resetting my wash n go a day earlier than usual! Whoo hoo!
Spring has finally spring so I feel comfortable usuing my spring/summer routine

Leave in: GLISS
Moisturizer: Lustrasilk Curl Activator (i'm back on the juice y'all!)
Gel: Eco Argan...the lighter hold does nothing for me in cold months but works like a charm in warmer weather.
Back under the dryer to dry my roots and then maybe a blow dry fore I hit these streets for errands.

Yesterday was my birthday. (I’m 23 officially lol)

I planned on starting a thorough wash day Friday night, but a had some friends come over and spend time with me and my husband and my family for a bit, so I pushed the start to today.

I know I’ve typically been listing a very vague wash day protocol when I message on here, so I’ll like to showcase the details. I keep it simple but I’m particular when it comes to the method.

I woke up maybe an hour ago so I’m going to start with a clarifying rinse. Using Pantene Pro-V diluted shampoo. (Ratio is 8oz of water to 1oz of shampoo.) I spray my roots usually if I’m just focusing on the scalp, but I’m going to rinse my entire head from root to tip twice to lift up the build up, since it’s time for a clarifying treatment.

ACV rinse to smooth and clarify my scalp, second rinse I leave on for 5 mins and wash my face or something.

Condition rinse. Using OverSoyed Organics Apple Sugar conditioner.

Moisture deep condition with Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura. (Using heat for 25-40 mins)

And finish with a Hot Shea Butter Treatment as one big sealant. (25 mins)

**********************
Later tonight I’ll do Bantu knots for church tomorrow and wear a Bantu knot out. I dilute one of my conditioners of choice to use as a moisturizer and seal with a serum to get the hold overnight and then unravel and fluff.
