I don't mean to derail your thread but, did you recently purchase it or was it in your stash?

I was in target the other day begin a product junkie looking to buy stuff I don't need and took a look at the Manuka Honey line and notice the SECOND ingredient in the gel and moisturizer was corn syrup! I tried this line a long time ago and I know I read the ingredient list and it didn't have corn syrup in it prior.
I will definitely keep passing over all shea moisture products.

I’ve been using it for a while. Yeah, Shea Moisture sucks. Except for my serum hope they don’t change ingredients. Corn syrup instead if Manuka Honey? That sucks BIG TIME.

I recently bought the Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil DC and honey is 10th, out of about 20-22 ingredients.

And I love Shea Moisture. They have some of the best DCs on the market. I plan on purchasing the new yogurt line soon. Happy you’re enjoying the serum.

A while back I repurchased the deep conditioner from this line. I didn’t read the ingredients but my results said it all. Tossed the whole container.

SM product junkie over here. I don't think I can toss any of my SM products. I tried to do a replacement with TGIN, Cantu, Lotta Body, Curls, ORS, etc... Stuff that was in the same price range or cheaper.... They're good products, but, the only products that I have that can top my SM is my really expensive products, like Moroccan Oil, GU Flawless, DevaCurl, etc... But, those products are way too expensive for me to be using them on a regular and rebuying constantly... Not to mention, SM has a line for every hair type. I think they understand that what's ultra moisturizing for one curly girl may not be ultra moisturizing for the next curly girl. Most lines, their products all have the same consistency.

I just bought a new jar of Manuka Honey. I'll have to check if my jar has corn syrup or not :( But, I love their argan oil as a sealant.

They are changing it? I just bought this serum last night and used it this morning. I really like it.

I have the Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Deep conditioner that contains the ingredients below. Does corn syrup, soybean and canola oil go by other names?

In addition, doesn’t companies like the Mane Choice, and Mielle have soybean oil in a lot of their oil mixes. Mielle’s Almond oil’s main ingredient is soy bean oil. But anyways..... we are just going to pick on one company for the sake of it, right?

DC Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Glycerin (Vegetable), Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Panthenol, Trichilia Emetica (Mafura) Seed Oil, Honey, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Fragrance (Essential Oil Blend), Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Seed Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Persea Gratissma (Avocado) Oil, Ficus (Fig) Extract, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter *, Tocopherol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol Butter *

^^^ in my post I noted that I looked at the gel and moisturizer. I didn't look at the deep conditioner because I prefer TGIN much more to the manuka honey DC.

Maybe they didn't alter the dc, but the products I mentioned had corn syrup.

This post made me go check my manuka honey conditioner ingredients. About 1-2 years ago and before they got cancelled, I purchased A LOT of SM. :look: Whenever they went on sale BOGO Free, I'd clear the entire shelves. Anyway, the jars I have include shea butter, manuka oil and honey. They must have changed the formula as usual.

Me, too and mine, too. I think they sneakily reformulated this line's mask like they did with the JBCO mask.
