If she sees this mention @oneastrocurlie has tried the Oh My Glide and I believe she likes it.

Correct!

I used it to wash my faux locs and just last wash day I used it again. I really like it. I bought a sample size and plan on purchasing a full size.

Eta: I didn't read correctly. Lol. I used the cowash most recently but also used a little of the glide too when removing my faux locs. I bought a full size of the glide. I like that too. Look forward to using it when I do a twist out soon.

Oh my glide is the first detangler that I've used in a super long time that actually gets my tangles out. The knots just just slide out with this stuff. It's a staple for me now (unless I find something better).

Wow. How does it compare to Soultanicals Slip-N-Slide Hair Glide?

I need to get to the Cowash soon. Koils By Nature also recently launched a Ginger Mint Detox Cowash, so I purchased theirs as well.:look:

I bought KBN because they offered it for an Introductory Rate. *cough*

I tried a sample of the oh my glide. Think I got one from the snack packs they have.

As far as comparing it to other spray leave ins, it’s a bit on the sticky side for me but I don’t mind. Slip wise, it’s not as slippy as I would like, but it definitely isn’t bad or low quality. It makes for a good spray leave in too. Not heavy, and it tends to play well with other products. Seals fairly well, and so far it holds up well in humid weather, much like the hair dew does.

Now the mint co-wash, I just straight up didn’t like. It’s got the cleaning capacity like that of a shampoo. It does a great job cleansing my scalp, but it’s a bit stripping for me. A quick rinse with any conditioner I have on hand puts the moisture back in, but I have sulfate free shampoos that don’t strip as much as that mint co-wash does.

But that’s my personal experience, I’m more than certain it doesn’t do that to everyone, or if it does, it’s what is intended.
