Rice Water?

Has anyone used it as a leave in? I’m thinking about adding it to my daily leaving in moisturizer. I wash, dc every 1.5-2 weeks.

I remember reading someone's offhand comment somewhere saying that people following this trend will be sorry once they realize that they're introducing mold and bacteria to their hair. Made me have second thoughts about trying to use it as a leave in...

Yes, this what I was thinking about actually. Not a good idea. I’ll stick to using as a rinse only.

how do you all make fermented rice water? do you all just fill up a jar with rice and water and then let it sit or do you all boil it first?

I personally would not want to leave that in my hair unless I made it smell real, real good.:nono:
Yeah... it stinks. I was like, no way I’m not rinsing that out. But I was at TJ Maxx and found some lavender essential oil. OMG! I can’t believe it got rid of that smell! I’m going to put lavender essential oil in everything now. I may buy the other scents the ladies have been raving about.

Has anyone noticed any increased growth after starting the rice water? The women on FB seem to think that it's the holy grail, but I've not heard the ladies here talk about it too much.

I like the way my hair feels when I remember to make & use it, but cannot contribute this one thing to particular benefits?

I recently purchased a Feremented RW DC'er from a Seller on E.TSY, that I love.
