Just a reminder: It is recommended to take Vitamin C with MSM so that the body can absorb the MSM. I know it's posted on the forum in one of the older MSM threads

And @larry3344 you have to drink plenty of water when taking MSM. Also, you're right - iron deficiency can cause dry brittle hair and hair loss. There is information on it in the Hair Loss sub-forum.
Agreed, I take mine with vitamin C 1000 daily as well. I do need to increase my water intake however.

I've been making a smoothie using berries, full fat plain yogurt, pineapple, a scoop of Spirutein protein powder and ice. It's a very thick blend, and I drop 3 scoops of Dr's Best MSM powder right on top. I suck it up through a straw, so the horrible bitter taste is followed immediately by my delicious smoothie. This morning my husband (who does not give compliments by nature) told me that my skin is glowing!

Received my MSM today. Waiting on my vitamin C powder to come on Tuesday

I’m Super excited because I have muscle spasms in my neck daily and I’m hoping this can decrease it some !!!

I wouldn't say it's loosened my curl pattern but the texture is definitely different - it's now silky, whereas before I started MSM it was coarse. It's so much silkier now that I've started reducing my dose from 3000mg every day to every other day. I use Doctor's Best.

MSM has definitely loosened my curl pattern and changed its texture. This may sound contradictory, but my hair strands resemble "Brillo/SOS" pad fibers, yet it is very soft. My original hair texture is coarse.

I take 6gr daily and my goal is to increase it for overall health and fitness.
