I think the proprietary blend from the old formula,is what gave it that kick for hair growth “Wild Yam”Saw Palmetto”etc..Great blend..

I think so too and when it got pulled I remember wanting to find that replicate in another vitamin. Never found one. I've taken Saw Palmetto by itself, but the blend is really great. Otherwise it looks like an everyday good hair vitamin mix.

Co-signing with you both! I was reading a blog last night and it was an old post about the old formula being pulled from shelves due to biotin and horsetail extract being together in the mix; that was the reasoning given to the blogger who emailed Nioxin directly about why the pills had disappeared.

I never had a chance to try the old formula, but hoping the new one does something for my hair. Like Mane Event, I actually cut my hair regularly (I get the scissor itch every once in awhile), but my hair is fine and noticeable thickness would be a dream come true to me, vs length (though I'd enjoy that too!).

Well I went ahead and bought the 2 for 1 with a 20% coupon and started taking it Friday. It’s enough for 3 mos and I like that its not in a bottle but in the single dispense packets. Easy to put in my handbag.

Quick update, it’s been almost a month since I started on the vits. I have noticed my roots are thicker than usual and my nails are very hard and growing quickly. So I’ll say something is happening. We’ll see at the end of three months.

Completed two months have another box to finish. Will not purchase again for several reasons.
Too expensive for the ingredients. $39/mo
Only noticed fast growing nails and some thickness to hair
Some acne cropping up
Growth is still my avg 1/2” mo
