Here we are ladies!

This thread is for us to show pics of our relaxed hair from this year.

And yes, it's a PICTURE thread!

You can post as many times as you want. The only rule is that the post has to have a relaxed hair pic from this year. We don't want one picture posted, then 5 pages of 'Your hair looks great!' posts! :lol:

I'm closing this thread on January 1st, so get in here!

I'm relaxing this week so I'll post 1 year growth pics then.

I returned my Dyson Airwrap, a total waste of time for me!

@LushLox all is forgiven! You're just like me! I take random hair pics wherever I happen to be at the moment.

Traveling for work last May means hair pics in the hotel room of course! I was prepping my hair the night before a big meeting and was a little self conscious about how to style it. I took this pic to see how my hair looked from the back. I was checking for thin spots. :look:

Thanks!! I blow dried and flat ironed my hair, which I don't do too often. I only flat iron 3 times a year. The next time will be on December 29th for my husbands birthday dinner.

I received my Airwrap and I want to try it on my daughters natural hair to see how it works before I make a decision. If I had purchased the RevAir first I would not have bothered with the airwrap.

Ok, here are my year end/ growth pics.

This is from February. My beautiful BSL hair was long gone and I was trying to deal with it. Stress was too much out of control last year. My hair loss told the story. I was determined to grow my hair back.

Just relaxed on Friday, and I'm thrilled with my growth and retention. Looking forward to maximum retention in 2019!

Cannot stress enough how important it is to take hair pics in order to stay motivated! It's still a little bit of a shock for me to be dealing with short hair. I can't even make a decent ponytail!

However, I can clearly see progress in the pics below.

Much better to start over growing out short, healthy hair than to hold on to a damaged mess! :yep:

@GettingKinky I didn't take care of myself for a long time. My husband is chronically ill and I was trying to get a promotion at work. I put my health on the back burner. My hair simply left my head.

It's been a year and I'm in full recovery mode now.

Here's my bang from last week. Looking fuller and more moisturized.... finally!

Merry Christmas ladies!

We are back home from celebrating and I wanted to see if I had enough hair to twist and pin the back like I did in my BSL days.

It's a puny lil milkdud, but I have juuuust enough hair. Even a little progress is progress!

Flexi 8 game changer.....

Now that I have enough hair for a miniature swoop and tuck, I can dig out my Flexi 8's and give my hair a break from bunning.

This is style keeps my ends tucked away, but I love seeing evidence that my hair is growing!

Hi ladies, this is my first post!

I’m currently at about BSL and plan to grow my hair back to MBL by this time next year.

I relax every 4 months (12 weeks) using Phyto II and use henna once a month. Olaplex is also a staple as well as SheaMoisture’s Manuka Honey & Yogurt and 100% Virgin Coconut Oil masques.

I tried to upload a photo but am having trouble! Never done this before; the size of the photo may be too large.

ETA: I managed to make the photo I was going to post my avatar instead.
