I am going to continue my routine that I have done for most of the year so far.

Neem oil scalp treatment on Friday. Saturday, Sedr hair treatment (I may or may not add fermented rice water to this, I will have to remember to make some by today).

I will do a Cassia, Amla, and aloe hair mask, I may add some essential oil to this, then I will do a garlic hair mask (I have to go purchase this this weekend).

Then do 3 or 4 braids. I am keeping it simple for a few weeks. I may have to straighten soon for a TV interview so for now lots of love and shea butter.

Last night I massaged some FC Castor Cayena and Castor Argan drops on my scalp for a few minutes.

Tonight I'm doing nothing, but Sunday after church I will have to henna color, wash and deep condition my hair. I will update later on what I will be using then :yep:.

This was definitely a win
After rinsing the olaplex and washing my hair felt soooooooooo soft....
And I hadn’t even conditioned it yet
I put the dc in then ended being invited out to lunch so I smoothed my hair in a high bun

When I finally got home at the end of the day I misted my hair with some water then steamed it

Then I rinsed the conditioner out oil rinsed and then used a rinse out conditioner (oil rinse can’t be my last rinse because my hair always feels too oily after rinsing)

I misted my hair with my aloe mix hit my scalp with xcel massaged, detangled though there weren’t many tangles
Then sealed my hair with safflower oil focusing on my ends before applying Shea butter and braiding my hair ito 4 braids

I’m not blow drying tonight because I’m tired

But my hair feels like buttah baby

So I knew this hair day needed to be quick but also a trim day because my ends are atrocious. The tangling has been insane lately. It was quick but I had to trim off a little over an inch all around, so I'm back to being below armpit length I think. I used the beautiful textures TMS system because Im playing around with the idea of a BKT (diy because I'm broke) so my next wash I guess I'll see how my hair feels. My hair didn't even last to the end of the straightening session because humidity doesn't want me to be great. Nonetheless my hair is soft.

DC: dollar store pillow pack x2
Shampoo: BT shampoo x2
Leave-ins: BT TMS and Tresemme heat protectant, but jeeze did my hair feel stiff and dry
Stretch: Blowdryer with comb attachment x2 (because the new one slipped off and broke on the first section and I had to go find my old one and file down the broken teeth)
Flat-iron: with my cheapie HSI straightener on the highest setting which was 410.

Then up into a bun it went.

ETA:
I forgot I made a fermented rice water rinse from yesterday morning and did it as a final rinse without washing it out.

Saturday: Untwisted hair and oiled Scalp with Amla Brahmi Hair Oil. Before bed I Twisted my hair in 4 big twists to keep it from tangling while I slept (I had AFB Ayurvedic Oil on my hands while I did it).
Sunday:
-Wash with Regenpure Shampoo
-Protein Condition: Komaaza
- DC with Soultanicals Afrotastic Curl Elastic with BelleBar Avocado Mask (onion, honey and coconut milk add-ins) + Fenugreek mixed in. This is on my hair right now.

Plan to dry in large twists and then twist my hair back up tonight or tomorrow.

Currently have some herbs on the stove brewing to make myself some hair rinse. Today I am using Raspberry leaves, Rosemary leaves, sage leaves, black tea, lemongrass leaves and Bell Bar Green Tea.

Can't wait to start my hair rinses again. That flu I had knocked me out of commission for at least 3 weeks.
