Tentative Hit

Sprouted Curlies Banana cream moisture rich mask. I was transferring the mask to another container because the originally one arrived broken. I had a little left over and put it on the loose piece of my hair that’s out of the crochet braids. Hair felt immediately moist. It softened and curled up. My hair feels hydrated which is a good indicator this will be a stellar mask especially when heat hits it.

HIT:

-Olaplex Shampoo - Step #4. First off, a little goes a very loooonng way. Secondly, it is largely moisturizing, smells soft and nice and cleans my hair so so good, yet still leave it very soft. It is definitely a big hit for my hair.

-Another hit would be my Dominican hair care products that I have been getting here on the ground. So far I like all the ones I've tried for their overall performance of strengthening and moisturizing my hair.

It smelled so good on me that three hours later I placed another order for back up. It’s a sale going on so i got this next set discounted. I’m going to take a bath and try the soap and body oil. I’ll start a thread on Monday But I’m a FAN

I went to the site, but couldn’t find a description of the scent. What perfume would u compare it to? Is it fruity, floral, woody, or spicy? TIA.

Oh Good!

I am still looking for an affordable replacement for Bekura YAM. :look:

I also have Kindred Butters Sweet Honey Nectar.

So I will try to use both as a replacement for YAM.

How do/did you use it?

I've used it straight out of the container. It looks like raw honey when you open the container.

I HIGHLY recommend that you use it on WET hair & warm the product (I rub between my hands) before applying. Otherwise it's very sticky and can pull your hair out. Once it is smoothed on, I sit under the dryer for 20-30 minutes with a cap.

I also add to my henna mixes.

I've never used Bekura Yam. What was that product like?

Major Hits:
Ouidad Ultra-Nourishing Cleansing Oil Shampoo
Ouidad Deep Treatment Curl Restoration Therapy Amino Protein Treatment
Bel Nuovo Coco Castor Pudding

The Cleansing Oil leaves my scalp feeling clean, doesn't strip my hair and a little goes a long way.

The Amino Protein treatment strengthened my hair significantly. Honestly, since Nexxus Emergencee (the original formula) I haven't felt my hair this strong and laid. Its at a significant price tag but I plan to keep this in rotation with Komaza Protein Treatment.

Bel Nouvo Coco Castor Pudding provides me with great slip and serves as great moisturizer for these winter months.
