Brands You Are Messing With Anymore......

I m not into flashy brands like The doux doesn’t appeal to me whatsoever, especially seeing the ingredients list . Could be wrong though.
I m going to shock everyone with this one :
Qhemet. It’s a good brand but apart from the coco detangling there and Burduck cream I don’t like anything from this line . The olive balm feels awfully tacky and squeaky drying on my hair .
Amla pomade is too heavy and doesn’t do anything for my hair .
My hair hates glycerin so it’s probably the reason I can’t stand these products, but there s also the scent . Weak ,mildly citrusy which I hate and a bit “dirty hair smelling” . It doesn’t make me feel confident like say Camille rose hair milk.
MielleOrganics. I don’t get the hype with this one . The hair milk doesn’t smell great but works OK,the cowash is a disaster doesn’t clean jack ,leaves my hair gummy even after rinsing for a long time . It might not be suitable for hard water.
The almond oil . Ok but I don’t want to smell of mint . Why all these oils smell of mint it messes up my DC Scent ,comes out horrid. Unless you need to stimulate your scalp no need of all this Orbit smelling stuff.
Shea moisture -I m just sick of it . It does work to an extent but I m just tired of this.

Wash Week™ Queen
KJ Naturals (questionable customer service)
Siamese Twists (stuff is always getting discontinued or just not being stocked forever :cry3:)
Soultanicals (because of the upcoming changes; may reconsider based on what remains)
Blue Roze Beauty (ingredient changes, questionable customer service)
J. Monique's (products no good for me)
Texture Me Natural (products are questionable)
NurCreations (terrible customer service)
Sarenzo Beauty (too many changes lately; products don't work for my hair)
Kurlee Belle (HORRIBLE experience with the DC)
Obia Naturals (such a MEH experience with the DC I wasn't inclined to continue with remaining lineup)

May be forgetting some...
I actually stuck to this and at the moment, don't have anyone new to add.

Soultanicals came off the list because the business changes didn't end up affecting the items I like by them.

PJ Rehabilitation Center
I also reluctantly added Bekura to my list due to the price. :censored:
She basically "outpriced" herself with me.
The only one I'll pay those kinda prices for is Qhe.met Biologics.:look:
What a difference a Year makes *cough*:look:

I had ENTWINE on my never again list - added them back in. (Improved CS)

I have Bekura here - ended up buying their new DC'er/Babbasu Leche (On Sale w/Free Shipping). But the prices are still bordering "out of reach"

QB is currently in the line of fire (Oyin Handmades - Whipped Pudding can replace CTDG for me probably). If I keep QB, it will probably be for the Burdock Root.

I think Garnier products are a joke.
Surprisingly the sleek and shine leave in in green bottle is my HG styler for wash and gos, as well as the curl gel. Their shampoos/conditioner never work for me though, they leave my hair like straw. The leave ins work so well for styling even in humidity.

Shea moisture: does nothing for my hair and never understood the hype. The cost is ridiculously expensive.

What changes is soultanicals going through?

Shea Moisture: I REALLY wanted to like their products, but shea butter and coconut oil are major no-gos on my scalp and hair. Shea butter builds up on my scalp and I find coconut oil will make my face break out. I might try their body products to see if those work.

Cantu: Same as the Shea Moisture reasons.

Pantene: Cheap crap that had an overpowering smell

Herbal Essences: I used to think this brand was okay, but compared to other white brands that my hair can take (Aussie and the Garnier Pure Clean line), it's not ideal if I'm in a situation where I can't find my usual black-owned products.

Taliah Waajid: Didn't really make a huge difference on my hair.

Jane Carter Solution: I really wanted her products to work as well (especially with it being one of the few commercial lines that offer multiple styling products without coconut oil and shea butter). However the glycerin and protein content left my hair dry and brittle.
