I am on this this weekend, actually I started and finished already.

I started with a new Shampoo the neem and clary sage co-wash from hennasooq. Then I did a keratin treatment with QOD Gold. It was my first time using this but I see what the hype was about. Then a followed up with a henna treatment (yes I put htis only top of the kertain treatment). Left it on over night then rinsed D/Cs with a Vatika mask. Blow dried and flat ironed. I will probably wear this for about a week and a half then wash next week.

I forgot to mention my best friends Sabino Moisture block and Aveda Blow dry spray. I am not a hair product junkie any more. But. I got a free sample of the aveda blow dry spray and it really does cut the blow dry time in half. I have hair that is difficult to dry. I got this sample a while back and it has lasted me a few bow dries, you don't need much.

Sabino, I took way too long to try you.

Shampooed my hair with Solo Coquette Shampoo, this is my first time using this shampoo. It left my natural 4C hair feeling stripped but once I applied the Solo Coquette Hydrating Mask, sat under my steamer for approximately 20 minutes, my hair came back to life. I applied SheaMoisture Low Porosity Leave-in, sat under my heating cap for about 15 minutes then apply Jojoba oil. To install my bantu knots, I applied Camille Rose Honey Hydrate Leave-in, the Camille Rose oil and Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter.:afro:

I took my henna out of the freezer from this morning and put it in the fridge to thaw out. Tomorrow morning I will put it in my window to heat up so I can apply it to my hair either tomorrow night or Sunday after church, followed by indigo color. I really need some color on these gray roots of mine.

Additionally I will most likely use my Olaplex System 1-5 after rinsing out henna and indigo.

I will be back to update on what other products I will be using once I start this whole process.

After my hair was revived by the shower steam...

I used Aphogee Keratin + Green Tea Restructurizer, followed by TMC Tropical Moringa Endless Moisture Restorative Spray. (Just trying it out, to see what it can do.)

Oh, I scrunched in some Melanin Hair + Body Oil to seal in the moisture.

Pre-pooed with Jlexillc scalp serum. Stuff stinks so I washed it out after 15 minutes.

Shampooed with Treluxe hair wash.

Mixed Bhringraj, amla, aloe Vera powders, grapeseed oil, hot water and Hennasooq Honey hair mask. In my hair now.

Depending on how my hair feels. I'll co wash out with Soultanicals Sprout co wash and dc with Bekura Beauty Leche.
Update: after cowashing my hair felt wonderful. So I skipped the dc and twisted with Bekura buttermilk and sealed with Jlexillc butter.

I do need a good slippy detangler. Any suggestions?

My henna is fully thawed out but in the morning I will sit it in a double boiler for a few minutes to warm up before adding to my hair. I like it warm against my scalp when applying it.

So I did olaplex 3 over night Friday washed Saturday with olaplex 4
Did aphogee 2 step then put on a protein free dc and a plastic cap
Meant to rinse it out after about 30-45 mins.... but I ended up watching all of season 3 queer eye....
It’s 2 am now soooo I guess I’ll rinse my hair tomorrow/today and style lol
My curlformers “should” be here tomorrow/today (it’s technically Sunday lol)
So maybe I’ll do that... maybe I’ll blow out on low heat and bun for the week

I’ll be oil rinsing with avacado oil when I finally rinse and then using the olaplex conditioner as a final rinse

I will be using the Pantene gold series moisture milk and sealing with safflower oil and one of my Shea butter mixes
