@discodumpling Hello! Is Mielle Pomegranate Honey very moisturizing? I’m trying to find more leave-ins that I can get on ground.

Happy Hair Growing!

On Sunday, I will do something. I don’t know all of the particulars yet.
I will come back and update.

Pre-poo: Rice water w/peppermint oil and Sirod Naturals Fenugreek DC

Shampoo: Sirod Naturals Coconut Milk and Fermented Rice (my hair cuticles were WIDE open after use)

DC: APB Milk & Honey w/ steam for 20 minutes, then under a cap for 45 min

M&S: Sirod Naturals Fermented Rice Milk Leave-in, BoBeam Buttercream, Shea butter mix

I tried washing my hair with gloved hands. I think it helped, but it was a little awkward. My hair is currently pinned up under a slap, until I figure out what to do with it.

Hendigo/indigo'd my hair. My hair felt great after rinsing out the hendigo. But felt rough and super dry after rinsing the indigo. Maybe I put too much salt. I usually don't dc after henna , but I had to dc 2x to make my hair pliable again. Hair is still drying rough. Hope It's not damaged. Rats.

Moisturized with my leave in mix: diluted Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave in conditioner, peppermint and lavender essential oil.
Oiled my scalp with my diy fenugreek herbal oil mix.

How long did you have each step on your hair?

I'm fighting to maintain moisture balance in between hendigo sessions as well.

I need to do my henna color but might postpone that to next weekend in favor of a simpler wash.

Poo: AF Stimulating Shampoo

Rinse : Rice water, hydrated fenugreek, CP tea and Henna Sooq honey combo

3 hours for hendigo. And 1 hour for indigo. Adding aloe Vera powder usually works to maintain moisture but the salt did me in. Hair seems ok now.
Update: I used Bekura Beauty Leche conditioner and my hair is super soft. Love that stuff.

Last night I finally got around to flat ironing my hair. It literally was a hot mess. I was sweating in the bathroom with iron on 420F. Ain't nobody got time for that. I really didn't do my roots because I was scared I burn my hair off. I felt my hair was straightened enough and I trimmed off about 1/4 inch all around.
