The bob is a definitely a classic. As far as its "hot trend" status goes, once CNN does a story on it, it's officially played out.

I agree, it never left. Every single time I cut my hair, I go back to the bob. It's so versatile and if the length is right, you can roller set it, flexirod it, twist set it, flip it and everything.

My favorite cut is when it's assymetrical - a little longer than tapered in the back and long on the sides/front with long layers.

And don't get me started on a touch of color or some mild streaks! I've been tempted to cut for about 3 days now.

I am with you ladies. I chopped from bsl to chin length bob in may after drooling over rihianna's haircut for a few months and I love it!

My hair is styled in a nice, layered bob, and slightly stacked in the back. I am really enjoying my cut, courtesy of a nice young stylist at a Redken concept salon.

I'm laughing at it being back because it's probably in it's basic style the most common hairstyle in the black community since forever.
I love the bob, but I like a modern fresh, kind of mod bob. Either blunt all around especially with bangs or layered ends/shorter in the back and a sweep bang, worn bone straight and thick or with sleek curls.

It did not know it left Most times I get some variation of a bob when I get a haircut which is every other year. last year I had a chin length layered bob cut that I loved!! This year I let my hair grow out, but I may get another bob next year.

Me too! I used to rock a shoulder length bob in highschool and I loved it! When I cut my hair again(whenever that may be), I'm definitely cutting it into a bob hairstyle.
