I haven't washed my hair myself in awhile. I thought I would try to yesterday. I put a chair in the shower to help alleviate any pain or discomfort I may have. It was a long process but I got it done. In more pain now but not going to be doing anything else and just resting.

Prepoo: Overnight the night before with Cantu ACV Rinse on scalp & Olaplex #3 on hair
Poo: Bask & Bloom Shampoo Bar
DC: Bask & Bloom Brahmi Root Hair Mask (for an hour with my heating cap)
Leave-In: Bask & Bloom Ease Leave-In
M/S: Bask & Bloom Mango Castor Twisting Creme & Silky Aloe Curl Pudding with a dab of the Bask & Bloom Herbal Oil
Style: Bunch of twists and let it air dry.

Not going to be messing with my hair until next week or so. Just lightly moisturizing it when needed. But my hair feels so clean and in heaven right now.

I was happily lazy this weekend, I rinsed my hair for a bit then added cantu hair mask and mix of cassia and herbs in my hair and rinse after about 2 hours. My hair felt great, applied homemade shea hair lotion and coconut oil micx then braided, I kinda want to leave it in braids until monday.

Washed out a recent silk-press for graduation to go back to my usual wash and go. Did an extra shampoo and deep conditioning session since the lady who did my hair used a lot of heat (which helped keep me get my money's worth out of the silk press in this Southeastern US humidity).

Cleanse and Treatment
Pre-poo
: DIY Fenugreek/Brown Rice Water with Peppermint and Rosemary Oil
Clarifying Shampoo: Kinky Curly Come Clean Shampoo
1st DC: Alikay Naturals Avocado Moisturizing Hair Repair Mask
Second Shampoo (Mainly for the scalp): Eden BodyWorks Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo

Hmm Yea no... this didn't happen.
I did the prepoo, i took out the canerows. I finger detangled. Then I twisted that thing up, slapped a wig cap on and right now my wig is sitting perched on my puffy twist.
My head must look so big.
If I washed and plaited my hair I would have been too tired to do it properly so this is the best I can do for now.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On Sunday, a new product made me change my routine. If this product is consistent, it will be my holy grail.

Pre-poo: Ayurvedic powders, Shea nut oil, and Sirod Naturals Fermented Rice DC. I detangled my hair in sections.
Shampoo: NEW PRODUCT- Sirod Naturals Creamy Herbal Soapnut Shampoo. I tested the product for the brand.
Style: SN LIC, Bobeam Conditioner, SN Oil, Shea butter concoction, SN Flaxseed Gel for WNG

My scalp felt so clean and refreshed after that shampoo. My hair was clean of all the excess product from my pre-poo and soft from one lather (product doesn't lather at all, just a figure of speech). I did not feel the need to DC, which eliminates a step from my wash day. If I'm able to repeat this wash day, this product will be moved to holy grail status. None of the shampoos in my current stash have the same effect. I'm so hype right now!
