On a happy hair journey
Going to do scalp treatments while in twists and see how it goes.

THU
Apply sulfur oil to scalp and coconut oil to length of hair
Do a scalp massage before bed

FRI
Scalp treatment with Nizoral shampoo
Follow up with Camille Rose Caramel Cowash
Apply moisturizer and coconut oil to twists while damp
Stretch my twists in braids or with bands to dry (may use a blow dryer on medium heat to dry my hair because it takes
forever to air dry)
Redo twists around perimeter to keep the protective style looking neat
Then hair goes right back up into a bun!

The gloss came out quite nice. My hairs natural sheen is almost a shine and the softness is amazing. I think the combo protein and moisturizing DC really did the trick. I then did a final detangle to moisturize and seal.

Wearing my hair in an afro today to let it completely dry and shrink down some. I'm going to start a new set of mini braids and I find it easier to grip my hair this way.

I made an appointment for a color retouch this Saturday. I’m too excited. I have received so many compliments on my auburn/ginger/blond color. This time, I’m going to have my stylist bring the ginger to the roots, and eliminate the auburn.

Thursday, I did the following:
Cowash- APB Blue Agave
Leave-in- Bobeam Lavender
Style- Mielle Pomegranate Curling Custard & CRN Curl Maker (I love this combo. I have so much movement and moisture).

Happy to report that wash day was a success. Thankfully, the sulfur oil completely washed out of my hair. I think this will be a solid routine for me now. Going to see if I can go another 2 weeks in these twists. :)

I don't think I will be washing this week but I might change my mind since I need to use my Olaplex steps 1 and 2 as soon as possible. If I do use my Olaplex then I know I will have to use a deep conditioner afterwards.

I'll use a light protein (Follicle Care Bambu) followed by a really good moisturizing deep conditioner (Follicle Care Coco Rose or Crece Pelo).

I'm ambitious! It is -1 week for my Aphogee Protein Treatment. I know for sure I won't get to it this weekend cause its fathers day and my husband is a diva. He wants all the smoke. So I'll probably just wash quick DC in the shower and keep it pushing till next weekend.
DD's hair is a top priority as we're in growth mode. So she gets the wash DC ,moisturize and retwist no matter what.
I'll be back with product usage in real time cause who knows what's under the sink??

Finding a solution to tame this itchy scalp. I've been doing the dreaded "weave pat" all week and I haven't worn weave in about 6 years.

I've been washing my wig braids twice a week for the last two weeks to combat itchy scalp.

Its helped a bit.
I want to start exfoliating and toning my scalp too. I'm just looking for the right products.

So this weekend...
Wash with palmers coconut oil shampoo
Deep condition with joico KPAK hydrator
Spritz with aphogee green tea restructurizer
Regaine 5% on my scalp
ORS coconut oil and baobab moisturizer

Shampooed my wig with palmers coconut oil shampoo and deep conditioned with ors replenishing conditioner
Air dry and slap some fantasia serum on it

My stylist canceled my appointment due to a prior engagement. She stated that my time slot was supposed to be blocked off. While I am disappointed, such is life.

Sunday, I will do the following:
Shampoo: Redken Cream Cleanser
Hard Protein: Mizani Kerafuse
DC: either SSI Marumallow or APB Honey
Style: SN Rice LI, Bobeam LI, Mielle Pomegranate Curling Custard, CRN Curl Maker for WNG

Side note: I am jealous of people who have major shrinkage. I had to pin my WNG up on Thursday, because my hair was past my collar when damp. So now I have to do my WNG at night to ensure my hair shrinks up enough to wear in uniform. I think in another month, I will no longer be able to wear WNGs in uniform.

I changed up the last 2 items in my regimen today. I used SSI's Papaya Blooming Moisturizing Leave-in and Dudley's Moisture Retainer and removed the QB BRBC and BM Grease altogether.

did start on my hair until this afternoon but I did do a neem hair scalp massage and applied to hair friday and satur
day night

I misted with a new hair tea then applied an aryuvedic hair conditioner mask. let this sit for an hour, rinsed and added a vatika mask to comb out with some serum. Rinsed this and air dried for half an hour then put into four braids.

i don't have an opinion on the hair tea. i will use it this week to rebraid and we will see how it goes.

Used Edens Split End repair masque instead. That's a good DC.

On the Grow and Keeping it Simple
Tomorrow:
  1. oil prepoo
  2. Diluted shampoo
  3. Heat DC with hooded dryer. Rinse
  4. Test out new DIY leave in
  5. Apply Gel
  6. Braid for braid out, partially drying under dryer if necessary.

Life got in the way, so I’m washing today. So far, I’ve:
  1. Oil prepooed for 2 days, lol
  2. Detangled with conditioner, avoiding one section
  3. Permanent color applied to the one section of my head that is graying.
Next:
  1. Rinse, diluted shampoo, towel dry
  2. Apply clear gloss, let sit while I run another errand
  3. Apply DC, sit under dryer for 15-30 minutes. Rinse out
  4. Apply my new DIY leave in and style for braidout.
