Marking my spot.

I think I will do something with my hair this weekend but just not sure what. I did get a much needed cut yesterday. I have to trim at least once every 6 months moving forward to avoid my ends breaking off from split ends.

I'll be back.

On a happy hair journey
Feeling very lazy right now with my hair. Don't think I will do a sulfur oil treatment this weekend. The oil sips into my pillows and is a pain to wash out.
This weekend I am going to try to deep condition with heat. Just applying some deep conditioner using a plastic cap and wrapping my hair with a towel. There no issue with moisture retention, just curious how my hair will feel.
Going onto week 3 in these twists and loving it.

FRI
Pre-wash treatment with coconut oil on length and ends of hair (I don't apply oils and things to my scalp because it makes it unhappy and irritated)
Scalp massage for 10 minutes

SAT
Scalp treatment with Nizoral shampoo for 10 minutes
Follow up with Camille Rose Caramel Cowash on length of hair
Deep condition with Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10n1 Renewal System Hair Masque (try saying that 10 times fast)
Moisturize and seal hair with Camille Rose Fresh Curl Revitalizing Hair Smoother and coconut oil
Retwist any twists around hairline and part to keep style looking nice

Under the dryer right now with my new Shea Moisture Miracle Mask....we gon see what kind of miracle it delivers.
Doing my mane today and DD's tomorrow.
I washed with Hask Cactus something or the other. DC is this Miracle Mask and I'll finish with Mielle Honey Pomegranate Leavein & a heavy hand of Eco Olive Oil Gel. That'll hold me down till Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
DD will have the same wash, DC and Leavein tomorrow but shes going into twists that I'll set with some Melanin and seal with good old Eco Olive Oil.

I have just no time this weekend. The kids are at an 11. I mixed some henna tonight but that is goinig to have to go in the freezer. I will attempt to cleanse with Sedr for 30 minutes then do a goddess hair treatment for 2 hours tomorrow.

Today I:

Shampoo: Taliah Waajid Apple and Aloe Shampoo
Protein Treatment: SSI Okra Reconstructor
DC: SSI Royal Honey and Argan Hair Mask
Leave In: SSI Marula Mallow Leave In and Styler
Stylers: Design Essentials Creme Gel, Camille Rose Lavender Crush Defining Gel

I did a "wash and go" today doing the shingling method. Best results to date! Way more definition than the Dickey method for me.

It's a miracle my hair didn't fall out! That shea moisture mask is a no, no and no. Like, I wont even consider mixing it with something else. It made my hair completely dry and rough. So much so I cowshed and reset my wash n go today. And I definitely didn't use it in DD's wash day process!

Hai turned out well, I did a braidout and with the help of argan oil it didn't end up a disaster in this humidity. I would have out it up but I Have a meeting today.

I am really enjoying thie rose water. If nothing else it is like a bit of well needed aroma therapy at e end of the day.
