ooooh!

I just saw this line at one of the distributors I purchase from.

I might have to check into the prices and maybe add them to my list of OTG products I can find here in the Bahamas.

This maybe my new go to strengthening conditioner. It's the Ginger Recovery (Infused with Ginger & Honey) Strengthening Conditioner.
The scent is warm, fall/autumn seasonal.

The ginger is definitely in there!! I felt it on my scalp, just tingling!! It's easy to untangle my hair, and leaves it soft and moisturized! I noticed that I had less shedding with it.

I want to try the leave-in treatment with it. I also found this one at CVS.

How do we feel about Isopropyl Alcohol in conditioners, though? I was intrigued by the Honey Treasures line, hoping for a cheaper version of my TGIN Honey Miracle mask, but the Repairing conditioner has Isopropyl Alcohol and the Repairing Mask has whats simply listed as "alcohol".

Skimming through the ingredients on some of the other Whole blends conditioners, looks like most of them have Isopropyl Alcohol.

yeah i noticed that too which made me leary but i love this stuff. its not drying to my hair at all. i don't know what its in there for but it doesn't cause any drying effect.

I bought the coconut oil leave in and paired it with giovanni direct leave in under it and eco styler over it. my wash and go is so bomb right now. this has now replaced my african pride moisture miracle leave in. its lighter than the african pride which i love because i got way more volume but still killer definition and elongation. WINNNER!!!!!

So that's something that I noticed too in the past, and It made me do some research about it since I found it odd to use an alcohol in a product that is supoused to be conditioning. Garnier has MANY conditioners and leave in that contain Isopropyl alcohol, and I have never experienced any effects of drying. Nothing but extreme moisture.

This link was the reading that provided the most insight for me to explain the use of Isopropyl alcohol in conditioning products: https://thebeautybrains.com/2014/04/why-is-there-isopropyl-alcohol-in-my-conditioner/

The idea is that it is used in cosmetics to dissolve other ingredients (Behentrimonium Chloride as an example). This is a common chemical process that is done in many cosmetics including hair care. Most alcohols in hair products never make it to your hair shaft because they evaporate or get used in a reaction to activate other ingredients in the product. Basically it is not as simple as this product has something, therefore it is left on my hair.

In the end of the day I go by how it feels on my strands and my hair absolutely does not get dry from these products. The honey treasures is still my die hard detangling conditioner, and my hair has been thriving in the last few months.

I love the leave ins in this line. They're becoming harder and harder to find though. Some of them are discontinued. I hate when that happens. I have a few bottles left. Hopefully they come back.

I liked this line. I rarely DC so I depend on my rinse out conditioners. I usually use Design Essentials Express conditioner. I replaced that with Whole Blends for a month. At first my hair felt great, but then the conditioner stopped working as well. I went back to my DE.

I love TGIN for a DC when I do do it. I tried the RX dc and its a bit better than the Honey Miracle Mask.

I bought this at Walmart because I couldn't get to Target for my trusted SM brand.
My hair was extremely dry after I got out of the shower. Like literally, my hair at the crown was dry after stepping out of the shower maybe 10 mins.

I'll have to do it a second time to see if it's the Honey conditioner with weekend.
I had heard great things about the line, so I thought it would be a win.
IDK
