On a happy hair journey
I have decided to be a straight-haired natural by wearing blow-outs for now. So its time to invest in the proper tools and products. I basically bought products that Monique from Mo Knows Hair recommends in numerous videos.

I saw this video and had to order the brushes. Usually the brushes with the pins also come with the boar bristles which is too much for my hair, so I'm hoping this will work out better.

Have never purchased these. Love the DC'er and consider it to be HG Status. Please lemme know what you think of these two.:yep:

I’ve been purchasing UBH products since 2005/2006. Back when I was relaxed, her system grew my hair super long. Through her original site is how I discovered LHCF.

When I became 100% natural in 2015 (cut off my relaxed ends, it’s when I started using Shea Moisture products, etc. Upon my first wash n go, I didn’t feel the need to moisturize daily. The gel cast protected my hair.

Fast forward to today, I finally have the healthiest & longest hair I ever had. In order to reach mid back, I’ve decided to keep my hair stretched and straightened on occasions. Her products give me moisture w/o reversion.

I got a silk press (fresh trim) and this moisturizer has my hair feeling silky 24/7. No build up, it’s not being weighed down, and my hair hasn’t reversed. It’s going on 2 weeks and I still have bounce and volume.

Me too. I believe for the fall/winter, I’m going to be protective styling. It has to be done on blowdried stretched hair. While my last protective style I did using twisted hair, detangling was a challenge.
