Ughhh I live in Tokyo and you've probably seen how packed our trains are :cry3:
Being squashed up against a stinky scalp is the worstt (second only to the men breathing with their mouths open)

That being said, I usually work out a few times during the week and by thursday, I can sometimes smell my own head when I turn :bricks:

I don't think others can smell it (I've asked) and I try to keep it up as soon as I smell it.

Buutt I don't have the time to wash my hair during the week. :busted:

It's weird because I used to wash my hair VERY infrequently back in the day. Like once a month but I don't remmeber it smelling at all. I do remember the horrible itching though :(

I'm easy going.
I wash my hair bi-weekly. I will start to wash it every weekend because I started using this funky hair oil I created. It smells awful. I'm trying to figure out ways to mask the smell. I really want to use this oil though!! Why does it have to stink so much?:wallbash:

Right?! I'm using one with fenugreek. How do you mask that smell? :(

I spray a bunch of cheap perfume in my hair after I style it. And I have and extra bottle in my desk drawer at work for an afternoon hair spritz :look::giggle:. It covers about 70% of the smell.

Eta: I'm starting not to care, I really like my oil and won't give it up for No one. I wash my hair, body and Im a clean person who dresses neat. If a person wants to think bad of my smell .....eph'em :lachen:.

I wash my hair almost daily because I'm not good at 2nd day hair... 6th day hair, etc.

A co-worker of mine has relaxed hair and she only washes when she goes to her stylist every 6 weeks for a touch up. I have never smelled her hair, but I tend to let all the white folks know that *I* wash my hair daily. I don't want them to get ideas about ALL black people.

(Litterally just happened)

A co-worker (black man) just came up behind me to squeeze my big bun. He said "I've been wanting to do this all day, your hair is so soft!" Remembering this thread I laughed and yelled "SMELL IT" He said it smelled good.

I'm here to report back :lachen:My stinky oil concoction didn't win.

If you use a stinky oil, get you some 7.99 perfume to spray on ya head.

Far from it....

My hair is so moisturized that I could stay the Sahara Desert for three weeks and still don't have to re-moisturize. With the amount of moisturizer and sealant I have that perfume only dreams of reaching my cuticle. My hair is soft and will stay soft for..........For'evah.
