I WENT FROM SL TO APL IN 6MONTHS!!! (pics)

...How did I do it?....protective styling,stretching 10-12 wks,No trim/cut (a little dust in Aug)...

I went from 17in to 20in,which means I retained all of my length...when u look in my fotki,u will see the last two pictures are the 6mth comparison shots (mar1307 & sept1st07)...I'm trying 2 reach BSL by Spring 08'...I have about 3 more inches to go......I'm so excited!

My Regimen is pretty simple,Prepoo with a mixture of Jojoba,coconut,emu,and olive oils....I wash & set at the Domincan salon weekly (Roux PC Shampoo,Silicon Mix Cond,Lacio Lacio leave in)...I wear my hair down for 2-3 days,then its up in a loose bun...I spray my SCALP during the week with a mixture of Water,Alter Ego Cren,Jojoba oil..thanks for looking

Thank u ....and it did sneak up on me,I was so shock to feel my hair on my back....I got the measuring tape out immediately

Thank u Catina...and your ends look great! Just be patient with them,don't cut them,they will even/thicken up,trust!

Congrats! That's amazing. You're an inspiration. My hair is taking forever to reach APL. I got to shoulder length in Spring 06 I think, I had a huge setback around last Christmas, and finally reached collarbone a few months ago . I'm working on those last 3 inches too!
