I plan on getting a weave done, and bought 18 inch hair from Halley's Curls, here's the thing, I bought I bundle, which is 4 ounces, should this be enough for a full head or should I get another bundles???

It's always safe to get two packs. That way you don't have to worry about having enough. And whatever's left over you can use later if you need to add more or replace a track.

are you getting a full weave, or a partial one (where some of your hair is left out)?

for a full one you'll need at least 2, but that depends on the skill of the stylist. the last time i got a full weave, she ended up using 3 and a half packages of hair, after she told me to only buy 2 packs. :perplexed it's always safe to buy 1 pack more than your stylist tells you to bring.

I agree with longhairdreamzz's suggestion of 2 packs. When I do friends hair with weave, it usually amounts to at least a pack to a pack and a half. The remainder left from that, they usually take it home, and sometimes use it to wrap their hair with to create a faux ponytail so it looks fuller.

You're going to need 6 to 8 oz of halley's curls hair to get a fuller looking install...so you may need to get the extra bundle. I have a client that uses this brand. The tracks themselves are super thin. You can use the 4 oz, but you'll get "see through" hair. I think that some of the hair is still on sale as of right now.:yep:

Okay, I checked to see what other hair I might have, and found some more halley's curls hair, that is 14 inch..so can I use the 18 inch in the back and the 14 in the front for a graduated look...thanks for the responses thus far...

I might just go ahead and order some more 18 since it's on sale anyway...
